Years ago the Arizona Republic Gazette ran a feature about a US citizen who needed kidney transplant I believe. She was mother of several very young children. She had been a working mom but her disease made her so ill that eventually she could no longer work and she qualified for AHCCCS. She was allowed to die because the AHCCCS administration determined that they could fix broken legs on several illegal aliens working construction and that was a better use of the monies.

Fast Forward - regardless of what they claim the law does, we are in a profit based medical system unknown elsewhere on the planet. Plenty of US citizens have had medical incidents occur while in other nations and they have come home after major surgeries with a bill of perhaps $20 max. However they portray in the article shows you a prostitute journalist or a prostitute bureacrat feeding false information to the ignoramus journalist because the US has to have reciprocity with other nations and provide medical care for their citizens when they are on our soil. Our neighbor to the south has universal care and will give needed medical care to US citizens needing it if they happen to be in Mexico when they need it. The same will happen here and we will still always have to pay for it and sacrifice our lives when limited funds require that our world status be maintained by treating the illegal instead of the citizen. Nothing can change or will change. They are just paying lip service to the sentiment of the taxpayers.

imho the guy was speaking Spanish only in hopes of getting financial aid from the Hispanic community. This has been done many times in the past with great success. And of course the denial of service to a Hispanic is a galvanizing effect on the community because they do not want to know about the citizens of all colors and ethnicities who have died to serve their needs.

Re the OP article. AHCCCS Fraud and Abuse is not reported to by every employee who is in a position to know of it. Reporting to Fraud and Abuse is not allowed to most employees - not in their job description - and will be punished for overstepping their boundaries. As far as citizens "cheating" I am having difficulty imagining - you mean trying to get healthcare that they need but would be denied unless they cheat? Sheesh!

Much of the decrease in program useage has been due to the illegals leaving the state. School teachers in some districts are telling that the loss of students has been huge.

It is true that the employees in state service have always suffered much stress in some positions and intake for services is one of those positions, especially when the employees themselves are so low paid that they themselves often qualify for the same services but are denied for nutty reasons. They are not a wel -paid happy bunch and with cutbacks things have gotten much worse for everybody. I was appalled in the DES office to see the employees cannot afford nice clothing but the illegals come in like princesses with those $500 baby carriages, hair and nails done, clothing I also could not afford when I was working and to top it all off, they don't have to wait for hours in line because they have appointments with interpreters and the state does not want to pay those interpreters extra. So the illegals become like royalty and that is an additional negative stressor for all who come into contact with it.

    The latest:

No one has yet explained why this Spanish speaking guy, Mr. Felix is eligible for ACCHHS in the state of AZ, but now Keith Olbermann has taken up his cause.

I do want Americans to receive benefits from the state, but not illegal aliens. The state of AZ has set up death panels, but illegals should get these benefits like they now receive court ordered dialysis.

Watch the Keith Olbermann interview with the man's wife. She speaks broken English, so she could speak to him, but the husband apparently doesn't speak English.

Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...
