    This September 1 the Republicans will hold their convention to nominate John McCain as their candidate to the US presidency. The convention will take place at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul , MN . The Republicans and their leadership have used immigrants as playthings throughout their political campaigns and for their war. Many of our youth are dying in a war to maintain control of oil in another country. That is why this September 1 MIRAc invites you to march together with thousands of people who will come from around the country to say NO to the policies this administration is using to criminalize the immigrant community.

    Amazing that welfare payments to illegals are going to be spent on traveling thousands of miles. Even walking to the location would get rather expensive if you have to eat on the road and sleep somewhere besides the corner of some alley.

    Again, LEGAL immigrants and ILLEGAL aliens are LUMPED together! Yet the two are TOTALLY different!

    It makes me mad that are lumped together. I know several legal immigrants that hate how illegal immigrants are grouped into the same category. Legal immigrants come here legally out of respect to this country and to become citizens through legal process. Illegal immigrants sneak across because they have no respect for this country.

    It tells you right there how dishonest these people are calling illegal aliens, "immigrants" all the time. They do this to illicit sympathy because they know that this country has a history of immigration and they want to blur the line between those who come here legally and those who do not. It is a cheap and dishonest tactic!
