An Open Letter To The Senate
Honorable Senators,
The American people are being prevented from speaking to you.
We have been calling day and night trying to make contact and our efforts are being thwarted.
The DC switchboard numbers are constantly busy or simply ring unanswered.
Even if we do manage to get through on the switchboard, the offices and direct office numbers are busy or the voicemail boxes are full even immediately after the closing of the offices.
This is also true of the local state offices. It is impossible to make contact during business hours and impossible to make contact after business hours.
You are NOT hearing the full fury of the American people!
For every call you are receiveing there are hundreds more that are not getting through!
I am challenging you to listen to the voice of the people.
Have enough staff to answer the phones.
Empty your voicemail systems so new calls can flood in.
Do not fool yourselves into thinking that the America people are calming down and backing off. We are here full force. We are being prevented from speaking our minds and we are furious.
To the good Senators who have been working so hard to defeat this Amnesty legislation, please challenge your peers on the floor of the Senate to make themselves available to the American people and not skew their numbers by preventing calls. Make them accountable for forcibly ignoring the will and the voice of the American people. Shame them for their dishonesty and their contempt for the people who sent them to DC to represent them.
Thank you.

Everyone,
please help me keep this post alive and visible!
We know that the Senate has their aids checking boards to see what people are saying...
Let's make sure they have the opportunity to see this message!
Thanks
PAF

Very good letter PAF.

Thanks everyone for helping to keep this message alive.
We need the good guys to see it so they can shame their peers.
We want the bill proponets to understand that we KNOW what they are up to and they are NOT going to get away with it!

Great letter, PAF. We must be relentless. If they shut down the phones, we'll just have to triple the emails. I refuse to give up.
