Congratulations Oregon patriots. Unfortunately, I suppose the evacuees will head straight north to Washington state. I'm sure our bleeding heart governor Gregoire will greet them with open arms and sympathy.I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Hello and Welcome to Tanstaafl - from just up I-5.
I'm glad the OR legislature had the good sense to pass this. Evidently, they have been hearing from many constituents on this issue and they did the right thing as a result.
Now, maybe we won't be the magnet for ID Theft and have fewer people that drive with licenses... but no insurance.

I am sure the OBLer's and the illegals and their supporters (shall we call them trainers?) will be writhing and foaming at the mouth about this, it will be in Biblical proportions "and there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth"!!!! They will try to work against it.
My husband mentioned that many of the illegals in Oregon already have licenses so this will not do any good, but I reminded him that they will have to renew, and when that comes up, they'll be out of luck. As well, many right now have either suspended licenses or none at all, and they simply will never have that bargaining chip now.
