I love you Patriots!

Not a place on Earth might be so happy as America. A man can distinguish himself between temper and principle, and I am confident, as I am that God governs the world, that America will never be happy till she gets clear of foreign dominion.

Not all the treasures of the world could have induced me to support an offensive war, for I think it murder. But if a thief breaks into my house, burns and destroys my property and kills or threatens to kill me, and to "bind me in all cases whatsoever" to his absolute will, am I to suffer it?

Had there not been for America, there would be no such thing as freedom left throughout the whole universe.

Tis not in numbers but in unity that our great strength lies; yet our present numbers are sufficient to repel the force of all the world.
