President Bush's speech, the unilateral approach the Senate used to try and shove their Guest Worker Bill down the House's throat and the deliberate slant that all television news services and most newspapers are putting on this story in support of illegal aliens (MOD EDIT). I wish it wasn't so. I live in central California. If you are unsure about the slant that the press has put on this story, did anybody see the moment on CNN when Lou Dobbs was saying that 72% of Americans were against illegal immigrants staying and the reporter contradicted him and showed his poll showing 65% were in support. Dobbs turned and asked incredulously," Who the hell did you poll?"
Evidence is being doctored in support of illegals. We will not win against the Senate unless we boycott in mass. We need to show who will cripple this economy more. We need to show the country and the Senate that we are fed up. If this doesn't work, we will not have any other option but to use the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution to remove the President and the Senate. If we still can't succeed, then either go to Canada or start a revolution. I wish I could be more positive. I sincerely doubt the House will be able to hold out.
Sincerely
MM1(SS) Steven Corter (Retired)
