A new PBS Film called "The Adventists" directed by Martin Doblmeier showcases a doctor from Zambia, who appears in the Documentary who lied to a US Consular Officer in his home country in order to obtain a VISA. Consular Leslie Livinggood - who was the US Consular in the US Embassy in Zambia stated to an American acquaintenance of his in or aroun d 2001 that this Doctor lied to her during his consular interview when she asked him if he had any friends in America - he answered "no". All the while, this doctor was befriended 2 American women whom he swindled out of money and tried to scam since 1996 who he was using to come to America. He had friends but lied to Consular Leslie Living good to get a VISA. He was denied a visa twice, and only got a B Visa when one of the women he conned and scammed wrote a letter of invitation for him to enter the country in order to take a test for his medical residency. His academic record is not good - he got plenty of Cs on his medical school transcript - this is what he's said to others - including a C in pediatrics which he took with Dr. Chomba. It is not fair that Kettering Health Network hired him into an internal medical residency program over more qualified American doctors and keeps hiring foreign medical grads. Kettering Medical Center in Ohio needs to be investigated to see if it is favoring foreign medical graduates over American doctors and this Doctor who flouted immigration laws and used American women to come to the US needs to be investigated. The US Immigrationi authorities were told about this doctor's visa fraud since 2001 -2008 - but this doctor is still here in the country as you will see when you watch the film on PBS in April 2010. This is not right or fair. Here is a relevant link http://digg.com/world_news/The_Adventis ... Visa_Fraud
