People, not governments, make a nation what it is

People, not governments, make a nation what it is

Is it easy? Hell no! America, where everyone wants to live, was built by people that didn't hide from tyrants and don’t to this day. Those who came before us sacrificed greatly to our benefit, not just with hard work, sweat and tears, but they also paid for our life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness with their own blood, not once, but many times. Because of these sacrifices, American’s should never feel guilty about laying claim to our own country and should always respect and protect what these sacrifices have provided for us. Any less is shameful.
Another country’s citizen’s decision to populate our country for us should never be tolerated. It’s also wrong to ‘allow’ another nation to make that choice. Put to a vote, any large scale immigration would have never been allowed by American citizens. Consequently, allowing circumvention of public wishes, using the excuse that America needs immigrants that have come by illegal means is not valid and is a moral wrong. Enforcement of our national sovereignty is not racist, illegal aliens have chosen by their own volition to enter the U.S. by unwelcome criminal act. Moreover, allowing an illegal workforce to stay in this country, which has no defense against abusive, low wage paying employers and suffering the subsequent life style is also morally wrong.
Our Government’s betrayal, by allowing illegal migration through lack of enforcement (we now suffer from more than four decades of our Government ignoring this problem), is just as reprehensible and morally wrong, as the aliens who are then emboldened and thereby further increasing the already ‘staggering flow’ of border jumpers. Aliens have displaced enough citizens in some states to radically alter the political landscape in their favor, forcing more minority status gains and even threatening the long term national sovereignty. If any migrant can just move in, make babies and stay, why then should they care, about assimilation, respecting our traditions, live by our morals or care about obeying our laws? Why should their children grow up to love and protect the unity of America when their parents resent us to begin with? Why should immigrants of any status respect us or our country when we don’t respect ourselves enough to fight for our own nation’s unity and security?
America is not obligated to alleviate problems for any other nation. If citizens of another country are allowed to flee from their own problems to America; it will take just that much longer for enough pressure to fix those problems to build up at home.
Extreme over immigration has become a heavy burden thrust upon the American public, whose will has been circumvented far too long.
If problems exist in the nations of the migrant’s origin, they then have the responsibility to fix them; no one else can do it for them. If anyone else did, the country involved would hate the meddlers for it. It is human nature to hate what you don't earn. This is why the more we give and the more we allow aliens to get away with here, the more we will be disrespected for it and the more lawlessness we can expect. Instead of fixing problems our altruism is making them worse. Their own solutions not pathos is the real need.
Creating legal immigrants out of illegal ones is not the answer; another wave of illegal migrants would come to replace them. Obviously illegal aliens aren’t about to obey our laws now or in the future if they didn’t to begin with. Our own strength, morals and sense of right versus wrong must prevail. We must be a nation of enforced laws or chaos is the result. They came on their own and for the health and survival of our nation; they can just as well, leave on their own. With all reason to stay having been removed and enforcement actually occurring most will take themselves home. Illegal hiring employers must be punished and the practice stopped permanently. Birthright citizenship must be amended.
We cannot, we must not, give or allow to be taken away or destroyed, what is ours and what has been paid for most dearly. Our ancestor’s blood shall not have been shed in vain.

    To ensure foreign success.

All we need do is nothing, I’m sure it will be (relatively) painless and there isn’t any need to worry, our children, our grandchildren will just be citizens of another nation.

For us the gentle soft night will envelope our regretful souls and carry us away, so that eternity will see our contribution as so much dust, playing about, to no great effect.
