    Pete Domenici Switching Side?

    Pete Domenici switching sides. He's not talking like he did the other day, is he? He's fighting for border security today and making noises to allow more amendments.
    He's talking like the entire bill is being voted on tonight. Has anyone else heard that?

    What was his stance prior? Was he for or against thebill?

    He is defending the MOTU (Masters of the Universe) view - keep the current bill intact, but allowing consideration of a few more amendments.

    I think he's had too many toddies at lunch, but he says one thing, then says just the opposite. I think he was saying to take more time for the amendments, but statements he just said don't make any sense.
