Hispanic retired federal supervisory criminal investigator candidate for the position of Assistant Secretary, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
Washington D.C. – Miguel Angel Contreras is proud to announce that he is a candidate for the position of Assistant Secretary, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The position of Assistant Secretary, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a sub-cabinet presidential appointment that requires U.S. Senate confirmation. In 2007, according to the ICE’s website, the Assistant Secretary directed “the largest investigative component of the Department of Homeland Security and the second largest investigative agency in the federal government, with more than 16,000 employees, including 6,000 investigators, and an annual budget of more than $4 billion. ICE is comprised of four integrated divisions that form a 21st century law enforcement agency with broad responsibilities for a number of key homeland security priorities.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
