All the rumors of the Senate bill being dead are probably correct , He wouldn't have time to pull it back up , even if it passed cloture it would not have time for debate or reconciliation with the house and all the rest of the mumbo jumbo they have to do

What IS NOT DEAD is the house version that passed , That is what he will try to bring

I'm not sure on the rules , I don't know if that is a 50 vote threshold or if it needs 60

Bottom line if that passes it goes straight to the pres to sign , you don't pass go , but you do collect millions of illegal aliens

There will be no amends , no reconciliation , no nothing , just the complete takeover by illegals

The fact that this bill must be voted on "as is" should make it easier for fence sitting senators to vote NO.

Reid will be able to bring the House-passed DREAM Act to the floor at any time because it will come to the Senate as a message from the House with special privilege.
