Suspects Range In Age From 12 To 17-Years-Old

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) — Neighbors near Kosciuszko Park in Wilmington expressed anger and outrage Friday, after learning the details of a brutal gang-rape that happened in the park Thursday.

Police say two women, ages 32 and 24, were reportedly attacked and sexually assaulted by a group of 10 to 12 black male juveniles in Kosciuszko Park at about 6:54 p.m. Thursday. According to police, the suspects, who range in age from 12 to 17-years-old, remain on the loose.

The victims were transported to Christiana Hospital for treatment.

Wilmington police increased patrols Friday in the park which is located in the 600 block of South Franklin Street in the Hedgeville Community.

The women were released from the hospital Friday, but as of Friday night, police had no suspects and no witnesses.

“The new criminal we’re seeing, they’re bold, they’re brazen, and they have a total disregard for life,” said Maria Cabrera, city councilwoman-at-large in Wilmington.

Neighbors who live near the park gathered with reporters, politicians, and police for a small rally Friday against crime and in show of support of the victims.

“This is a good neighborhood, and I lived around here for a year,” said Baseer Powell, who had come to walk through the park. “I’m surprised this happened, but its on these kids’ parents to raise them right.”

His wife Sharee said in light of today’s events, there will be no more family visits to the park.

“Who told you that it was ok to mistreat women to this magnitude? And what do you need from society so that you can make better choices,” said Wilmington Councilwoman Sherry Dorsey-Walker, whose district includes the park. “There’s no easing someone’s mind when you have young people committing these types of crimes.”

The incident remains under investigation by the Wilmington Police Department.

The original news story from local sources and linked on the Drudge Report said 12 teens raped two women, aged 32 and 24, Thursday evening in Wilmington, Del., and police were looking for help in finding the suspects.

The local Wilmington paper dutifully said the police were searching for “teens” of unspecified race.

Only later was it reported the teens – all believed by police to be between age 12 and 17 – were also black.

Local readers noticed the omission.

“Maybe they could get some help finding these youths if they would give a description,” said Michael Harmon in the News Journal web site. “They already know the ages somehow. Whenever they got the ages of these idiots, maybe someone could give them the race.”

Another commenter, representative of the many people who used to live in the city but now live in the suburbs, said, “The once great city of Wilmington has become just another urban jungle … overrun and in many ways taken over by savages.”

The local CBS affiliate in nearby Philadelphia made more than one jaw drop by finally listing details from the police report that were omitted from local stories: The alleged perps were black.

“They didn’t (list the race) at first,” said one reader of the CBS coverage. “They got called out in the comments and about 400 posts later, they silently updated without saying ‘update.’”

Get the book that documents what the media won’t tell you: hundreds of episodes in more than 80 American cities since 2010, where groups of blacks are assaulting, intimidating, stalking, threatening, shooting, stabbing and killing victims.

As horrific as the crime was, few are surprised it could happen in that neighborhood or that city. Last year, Parenting magazine named Wilmington the most dangerous city in America: “Wilmington managed to snag the number one spot on our list for highest rate of violent crimes per 100,000 people. And while the overall state of Delaware ranked moderately well in the peace index (which looked at factors such as police per capita, percentage of population behind bars and access to small arms), Wilmington came in the top spot for sex offenders per capita.”

The park where the assault took place is located in the Hedgeville neighborhood of Wilmington. This used to be the center of the city’s Polish community in the 1960s, but today it is largely a black neighborhood, with a smattering of Hispanics and white urban pioneers.

Violent crime is an everyday fact of life in and around that neighborhood. Local political officials are often found at crime scenes, promising to end the violence that regularly racks this city of 70,000.

Despite the periodic outbursts to the contrary, city leaders are surprisingly tolerant of violent crime.

At a recent meeting, the Wilmington City Council voted unanimously to remove the box that convicted felons have to check on city employment forms. In the two-hour discussion of repatriating violent felons back to Wilmington after they serve their sentences, not one council member mentioned in any way the thousands of victims of violent crime in the city.

Neither did one councilperson refer to the 80-percent rate of recidivism that local felons experience after they are released from state prison.

Loretta Walsh, a longtime member of the city council who only recently gave up her committee chairmanship overseeing the police department, recently said she was “furious” at a local police officer for telling a victim of crime she lived in a dangerous neighborhood.

Several cases of black mob violence in Wilmington were documented in “White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence and how the media ignore it.”
Last year, shooting broke out at a soccer game a mile from this rape. One person died, and police found shell casings from 14 guns at the scene.
Earlier in August, Wilmington police responded to a crime scene where 100 black people had been fighting in the streets. Four people were shot. None died.

Stuff like this just suggests we need to stop treating juvenile offenders so lightly. If you can do an adult crime you can do adult time. But further start holding parents accountable as accomplices when the parents have no supervision of the children. These juveniles surely know due to their age IF they are caught they will get light sentences as they are seen as children and then also many be able to have their record sealed as juvenile offenders when turn adults.

When the nasty little perps are caught, it would be interesting to see how many children are in their families and how many have been raised on welfare. This is what happens when the government incentivizes having children for income and people have them and they run wild.

Illegal aliens are turning having kids into an industry to avoid deportation and for income also. As long as the government pays people to have kids and not raise them it will only continue. JMO

Two women say they were gang raped Thursday in a Wilmington, Del., park by 10 to 12 suspects identified by police as juveniles, MyFoxPhilly.com reported.

The alleged attack occurred inside Kosciuszko Park at approximately 7 p.m. Police say the women, ages 32 and 24, were sitting in the park when they were approached by a group of juveniles they described as black males.

One of the women called 911 to report a rape, but it was unclear if there were other witnesses to assist in the investigation. Detectives, at this point, do not have any suspects.

Frank Roberts lives across the street from the park said, "I can't believe it. ... Didn't hear a thing. None or us did. We were all home."
The alleged attackers fled in an unknown direction, the report said. The condition of the women, who were taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital, was not released, the report said.

"This park is not safe to walk around in at night," Louise Riley, who lives near the park, told Delawareonline.com. "You can tell that a lot goes on in here by the discarded condoms, and police driving by cannot see the isolated pockets from the road."

Despite the stepped up patrols in the park, Roberts isn't taking any chances with his 20-year-old granddaughter.

"I'm gonna to tell her to stay out of the park after dark -- or during the day," he said.

A Teenage Black Mob Gang Rape And The Media Is Silent?

This is getting out of control. A teenage black mob gang rape occurred in Wilmington, Delaware on Thursday, leaving two white women battered and broken.
Reports claim 12 black men raped two white women, aged 32 and 24. Where is the outrage at such an atrocity? The reports keep coming daily, and they are sickening. Another black mob gang rape, a murder, or a brutal beating. It's a twisted, vicious cycle.
The two women who were brutalized by 12 black teenagers deserve an angry, public outcry. But instead, there's sterilized headlines across the country. God forbid we mention race here.
A Philadelphia station reported the story and title it "2 Women Gang Raped By Juveniles in Wilmington Park." That's it. And this isn't the Huff Post, which is becoming a state run media operation, now that Obama underlings are writing for the leftist outlet.
The bottom line is this is a teenage black mob gang rape. That cuts throw the media sanitizing of the situation. And there will be no denying what happened and by whom.

With no suspects in custody as of today, detectives are imploring for the suspects to "take accountability, step up, turn yourselves in so that way we could move forward," Cpl. Jamaine Crawford, of Wilmington Police, said in a statement.
It is Sunday and various media outlets are just now reporting in their articles that the suspects are black. The New York Daily News Headline reads, "Two women gang raped by 10-12 juveniles in Delaware park: police." They're not mentioning the race of the suspect in the actual headline, but under it. The Huff Post headline reads, "Kosciuszko Park Gang Rape: 2 Women Allegedly Assaulted By Nearly A Dozen Juvenile" Heaven forbid the media reveals the truth and tells the facts in the headline.
Yes, the savage gang rape perpetrators are black. The victims are not in the hospital anymore, but this is all that is known about their condition. No one saw what happened or heard anything. And none of the suspects are in police custody. Is anyone going to sleep well tonight knowing that this is the new American reality?
This could happen anywhere. And there is no outcry.
Just cowardly silence. Notice the title of this video doesn't match the report. The video merely reports that this act was committed by "juveniles." The truth is there, but no one wants to speak it for fear.
