Because of the fact that power corrupts, we have weights and balances caled House and Senate but even more so we have a citizenry who is to also keep watch over them .

We the people have not kept a good enough watch .

I just witnessed this in a small community homeowners asst . We had fights over covenants and restrictions being enforced under bylaws . Rules and restrictions were plain and simple . The people all agreed to them when they bought their property . A couple wanted to ignore certain laws they didn't like , brought caos to whole community ! While we fought the enemy strted moving in [ new arrivals ,legal and illegal immigrants ] and our n-hood started going down , property values went down, real estate people were chased off by one immigrant with a machette for taking pictures of his third world setup that was against all restrictions and caused a $40,000 loss of homes . We got them out ,but it took work . We still get indirect threats because most stayed their cowardly butts out of it so we were zoomed in on !

I say this beause it is happening all over . They move in, live like they are still in thrid world and n-hood is lost .

When one bad apple gets to stay in office it can spoil the whole nation . They either beleive in the laws they are to enforce or they don't . Not part of them but all of them .
