A questioni was asked.... Legal Immigration

    A chick asked me

" If the 20Mil illegals were forced to pay taxes, Would it be that bad?, We already pay for them... all the census are way off because they are not part of the Positive income. If we could get an ID system where EVERYBODY had to have it Immigrant or not. Could that work?"

    No it wouldn't work.

Most illegal immigrants hold lower paying jobs and collect far more government benefits such as free health care, food stamps, subsidized housing etc.Than they would ever pay in taxes.
We can't deport them all ? Just think of the fun we could have trying!

Ah, yes! The "tax paying myth", the "they pay into Social Security" myth and all the other myths the Socialists ram down our throats.

It's simple. A worker comes here from Mexico illegally and goes to a job site. His boss puts him to work and tells him to work the whole day. Depending on what mood the boss is in and how much money he has in his wallet, the boss pays him as little as is physically possible. Out his wallet. $50 in cash. If the illegal worker is a miracle worker, the boss may forego the purchase of some supplies and give the worker $100 in cash at the end of the day. The boss may also try to stiff the worker and not give him any money. No taxes. No records. No laws.

    End of story.

Let's cut the crap and stop pretending that something else is going on.

The Democrats want to hand out "registration cards" to illegal aleins like it is candy on Halloween. Scary stuff.

It's playing on the old "we've got to know who they are". Ah, no we don't. All we have to know is they don't belong here and deal with that fact firmly and quickly.

Another big drain they would create if legalized is the "earned income credit" of up to $4400 a year. The IRS actually sends out a "refund" check for this amount to those who qualify, even if their income was so low nothing was deducted from their paychecks in the first place. So while they might pay small amounts in sales, property, and social security taxes, they would get even more back than what they paid in taxes overall.

Right now illegals contribute small amounts in sales and property taxes, if legalized they would get the earned income credit meaning their net tax contributions would actually DECREASE or go NEGATIVE!!! Plus at the same time they would be eligible for more government assistance programs.

This was why according to a CIS study if illegals are legalized they would cost the federal government $15 million more per year than they are now costing. Their cost to state and local governments would also increase.

Actually, "registration cards" make identifying illegal aliens much harder than before. Many aliens have been caught with multiple fake "matricula consular" cards in order to establish more welfare accounts, credit cards, home loans and keep the police from knowing the same identity. Citizens from India have been caught using multiple passports with different identities so they could evade the government and apply for multiple lines of credit. So "registration cards" make proving identity more difficult.

OMG! I wish more people would do their research! I had a fellow Mom at a school saying that if Obama wanted to legalize the IA than why should they have to pay a fine? She said they already pay taxes, blah blah blah. I said NO THEY DO NOT! They pay pay sales tax when they buy something but guess what so does everybody else who visits the USA. Every time I buy something I have to pay a sales tax so what makes them so special??? Then I told her even if they have a fake ssn they use to work they claim the max amount of dependents knowing full well they never intend on filing taxes so they get most of their pay and very little take from their checks. Then I told her they probably have at least one kid if not more and it cost at least 8,000 a year per kid here in san diego at public school to educate that child, not to mention the free health care, food stamps, wic, the 6 to 6 program, esl classes which cost more to educate them. So I told her they cost more than they will ever contribute and with so many americans out of work and struggling those programs should be for Americans. She thought about it for a minute and was like wow I didn't know they didn't pay taxes! (not to mention those IA who work for cash and pay nothing at all)...
