Pre-emptive Immigration bill for next year ?

Pre-emptive Immigration bill for next year ? I believe two things , Whether anyone likes it or not as long as bush is in office and Ted chapakennedy is alive They will not give up on rewarding law breakers . Why not pre empt the next amnesty bill with a real immigration bill ? Let 'em fight about that one next year .

My quess is that something will be sneaked through in the dead of night as an admendment to another bill. Be careful. Teddy boy is good at doing this and it often happens on items that the Senate wants to do but there is to much American watching.

Becky is right. This is the most critical time to watch these guys. Some of the worst legislation in our nation's history has been passed during lame duck sessions.

Yes this is far from over. The traitors will be looking to take revenge any way they can. Freedom act etc. We must keep the heat on them to enforce our laws and secure the borders! Now is not the time to relax and take a breath. I have called my two TX Senators and said Thank You for standing up for America. I really do not think any of the Kennedy clan has really been shaken up by this. They still believe they are above all... and with the 08 election coming up we may really still have our work cut out for us. Now if I could just get enough people like everyone here to help shut down the Trans Texas Corridor (Mexican Highway.

First of all, we need to thank the Senators that voted "NAY", this morning. If they hadn't done this we would not be celebrating. So, be sure to call them and send a thank you fax or email.

Secondly, we need to contact those Senators that supported the amnesty bill this morning, especially Hilary & Obama. Perhaps we could ask them to re examine their position and support Americans with enforcement of immigration laws and border security.

Third, ask about the fence. The President recently signed legislation for 870 miles of fence on the southern border. I believe 200+ miles are suppose to be finished by Sept., yet only three miles are completed.

Our journey is not finished. We can take a short rest, but we can never stop. At least not until our borders and ports are secure.

I think since they fought so hard to get this thing pushed through that they will not admit defeat. We need to keep on top of
them, I worry they will sneak it by somehow.Maybe break it in pieces and add it to other bills.

Magyart-I fear Sen. Clinton is a lost cause on seeing things our way. I think I read a story someone posted on here a few nights ago about her hiring a few
La Raza folks for her presidential campaign. If the story I read is correct then
    we know where she stands.

I also believe Clinton is a lost cause. Don't worry, I will never vote for her.
