Lou Dobbs was saying on his radio show today that this government won't even think about trying to pass amnesty right now with the economy the way it is. But I don't, Obama has been doing some pretty stupid things.

tinybobidaho, probably not. But expect a serious fight in September against extending E-Verify. By opposing even the most reasonable efforts to protect increasingly desperate Americans, the 'Crats will be sending a strong signal to the illegals lobby that this administration is on their side.

I wake up everyday wondering what this madman/idiot they elected is going to do next. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they tried to pass an amnesty right now!

Yup, the way they are spinning this is that mass amnesty for millions of illegal aliens will not only be good for our economy, but (magically) will increase all workers wages. It's absurd, I know, but the MSM as usual just regurgitates this nonsense.
