A 'proud Mexican' angered by reports of illegal alien crime

I am a proud Mexican Patriot, and I will defend my country and my compatriots until the day I die, and if any of your compatriots ever choose to attack any of mine in my presence they shall live the consequences of their actions.

As regular readers know, this columnist has made a point of highlighting the most heinous crimes committed by illegal aliens in this country.

Crimes such as DUI, rape and child molestation claim the lives as well as the innocence of thousands of Americans each and every year.

Of course, the mainstream national press has chosen to largely ignore this most dangerous aspect of illegal immigration, and now even refuses to use the legal term 'illegal alien,' when referring to these foreign criminals, opting instead for the rather absurd moniker of 'undocumented immigrant.'

However, this reporter does use the proper term of 'illegal alien,' and provides all the gory details of the crimes most "Americans refuse to do."

Not surprisingly, this has angered a good many people, mostly on the left.

Over the years, a high-ranking official with the American Civil Liberties Union, an illegal alien advocacy group in Virginia Beach, and others have contacted Examiner.com to complain about the supposed 'unfair' things I have reported about the harm illegal immigration is having on this nation.

Recently, though, someone who identifies himself as a "Mexican citizen" living in this country contacted my editor with a rather ironic rant about my reportage on illegal aliens.

That note follows:

I've read many of your articles Mr.Gibson, and let me tell you, quite frankly, I don't know what responsible or serious news network would allow anyone like you to write. Journalism is a very serious business, and your articles show that you are not taking it very seriously, with all the responsibility that entails being a journalist...you are inciting violence and hatred towards a particular group of people! Have you ever thought of the consequences your "information" could bring about? There are people out there who read things like the ones you write, who do not have any self control, and that scares me. I have no way of knowing when I'll meet some stranger on the street who will turn violent against me for no reason, all because they read some article on the internet. As a Mexican Citizen living in the United States, I am always scared. Articles like the ones I just found today make me cringe because they put people like me at risk, they put my family at risk and in the spotlight for unwarranted racist attacks by strangers, because you never know who you may encounter in the street. I know you think yourself as a proud American, and that you are trying to protect your country, but this is no legitimate means of defending it Mr. Gibson, violence is not the answer. And if any of your compatriots ever choose to attack me or any of my family members because of you, I will defend myself. I am not liberal by any means, so let's not start with that circus. I am a proud Mexican Patriot, and I will defend my country and my compatriots until the day I die, and if any of your compatriots ever choose to attack any of mine in my presence they shall live the consequences of their actions. Many of my compatriots respect the rules of your country, I respect the rules of your country, but inciting hatred is not a rule, it is an attack. And I hope that is clear to you. We are in your country, yes, but that is no reason for you to treat us that way!!!!

Now, I described these comments as "ironic" because every single day another American is harmed by an illegal alien through both non-violent crimes such as identity theft, as well as by life-altering acts such as rape.

You see, American families are already "at risk" from violence at the hands of those who have no legal right to be here.

Those of us who simply want the rule of law restored to this nation (meaning immigration laws enforced and our borders actually secured) must thank this "proud Mexican" for honestly demonstrating the level of arrogance so often displayed by those who can be fairly described as foreign invaders.

Make no mistake, these are not immigrants!

Immigrants want to be Americans, and show their respect for this nation by respecting our laws. In short, they come her legally.

So, at the risk of disappointing my detractors, I will continue to point out the harm being done to our great country not only by the illegal aliens themselves, but by the crooked politicians who aid and abet this massive, ongoing invasion.

They treat us with contempt, because in their eyes we are contemptible weaklings. In dear old Meheeco, we would long since have been silenced and tossed out. Here, our elected representatives are falling over themselves in a rush to convey benefits to illegal aliens.

Patriots must take every opportunity to reach out to other Americans, so that we might preserve our country and the jobs that our economy can still generate.

Glad Mr. Gibson posted the letter because I believe it shows the mindset of many here illegally. Reminds me of the marches back in spring of 2006 where the Mexican flags were proudly displayed. That showed more of a reconquista attitude than wanting to become a u.s. citizen and assimilate. Obviously they now got the memo to keep their flags in the closet but we know they are still there.
