    Only flag on our street

I put up my flag to celebrate and also because I'm just about the only English speaking person living on my street. I wanted there to be at least one person on the street that day acting like they remember what country they live in!

    Flag fying

Like a lot of vets, I fly our flag every day. It should be lit if left up over night. And never let it show signs of age or soil....replace the old with a beautiful. crisp stars and stripes as needed. If your going to fly her, give her respect. When disposal times comes, pass her on to your local scouts for a proper ceremonial destruction. NEVER put a US flag in the trash!

I'm sure most if not all of the folks on this site fly Old Glory on proper holidays, I would suggest every day and double or tripple up on the holidays! The neighbors will have no doubt then about where you alligance lies and your passiion for your freedom.

    Long may she wave!
