    Citizenship

It is illegal in Mexico to be a citizen and have citizenship from another country.

Not anymore. They changed the law in 1998 to allow dual citizenship.

I've had a problem with the 'dual citizenship' of Mexican-Americans. While these people were granted amnesty and citizenship they were not required to take the oath of allegiance and denounce their sovereign -- under the law that voids the privilege of citizenship.

These "legalized citizens" are neither "naturalized citizens" nor "natural born" citizens, they are in fact NON-citizens

The 1998 law was passed with one major setback....you can obtain a public office. Not the same, sorry.

Does anyone believe that an "exception" might have been possible re:Fox?

? Is it possible that Fox is an American and holding office in Mexico?
WHO WOULD KNOW that could do anything about it down there? They're all corrupt.

I do know that Mexicans hold dual citizenship as do other nationalities.
We just need a yea or nea.

Under Section 349 of the US Immigration and Nationality Act Mr. Fox would not be able to be a US Citizen due to working for a foreign government (e.g., in political office or as a civil servant).

and treason on top of that...

Juan Hernandez was a Mexican cabinet member -- President Vincente Fox's special advisor on migrant affair and oversaw the 'guest worker program' -- AND also a United States citizen

Then I think you need to contact some officals and ask them about this.

Mr. Hernandez was appointed to his seat by Fox. He was not elected by the general population.
