In case anyone didn't catch it on the news, illegals were recently caught voting in Texas. How? By being called to jury duty. All registered voters are called from the registration rolls. When they appeared for jury duty, many admitted to being here illegally. But they can vote.

That is why some months ago, I requested that our legislators introduce legislation for the commonwealth of Virginia to make it mandatory for registrars to check all Social Security numbers with the Social Security Administration to be sure those numbers are listed for those registering to vote. Was anything done about it? No.

What has happened in Texas has happened all over the country. Why isn't Congress doing anything to protect our rights? What a disgrace, and what an example to set for the rest of the world. We are just as corrupt as some of the countries we accuse of corruption.

It is my hope that our state legislature will take measures to correct this problem by requiring every registrar to go back over the registered voter lists, starting with current ones, and check those Social Security numbers against the Social Security Administration's files.

Any illegals found to have used one of those numbers should be charged with a felony and prosecuted by immediate deportation, and a criminal record should be made public.

This should be done nationally. No new legislation is going to cover up the breaking of our laws. I oppose the legislation the Senate has recently been working on. I request that the Senate spearhead measures to enforce the laws we already have on the books.

Don't tell me we can't deport the illegals already here and strengthen our border; that's a cop-out. Let them come here legally. My father did.

If it were not for illegal aliens voting in the Los Angeles mayoral election two years ago no one would have ever heard of Antonio Villaraigosa. Of course, nothing will ever be done about this because the Democrats want the votes.
