Ed Gillespie is the single most responsible person for the illegal immigration problem in the United States. He is the Albert Speer of the "new" Americas.

Many Americans are quite aware of the lack of difference in the supposed two party system here in the US. Ed Gillespie former chief of staff to Al Gore, co-owner of the "bi=partisan" lobbying firm Quinn Gillespie and Associates was selected by President George W Bush to chair the Republican National Committee from 2003 to 2005. In 2007 President Bush appointed him as counselor to the President.

The 2003-2005 time period saw the laying of the infrastructure for the recent upheavals in the anti US sovereignty movement and the fastly rapid Republican support move towards funding illegal immigration. He even went as far as to write an accusative column in the Wall Street Journal that contained rhetoric championed by Lindsey Graham.

Here are some interesting reserach points found by citizens.org, a congressional watchdog group, about Gillespie:

I fail to see the comparisons to Speer

I have read the Spandau Diaries and it appears that
Speer was basicly an architect and toady and very little else

He had very little say in the policies of Germany at the time

And, yes, you stand correct on that assumption.

Al Gore and George Bush are wide apart on immigration judging from their records thus far.

This is related only secondarily, but I feel it's appropriate here and it is worthwhile (it fits in well in terms of corporate greed/control and influence into the operations of government). The overview really doesn't say much, I recommend listening to the full interview if you've got the time later this evening or a more convenient time. The segments about Boosh and his presumed 'success' running the MLB franchise is interesting, so too, is the discussion about Walmart ('Malwart') and their modus operandi as well.

In short (in my own words) - it has everything to do with influencing governmental policy, tweaking tax policy, and generating apparent profits 'on paper', and has very little to do with 'innovation', 'investment', and 'efficiency'.

I don't believe in cloning (per se), but if I did, I'd put Teddy Roosevelt at

Albert Speer was in fact an Architect in the craftsmanship sense of the word, but also was responsible for organizing the rallies, creating business relationships, increasing productivity in conjunction with the SS. In fact many of his projects required extra materials and such and many concentration camps were set up simply to facilitate his projects. 20000 Dutch are dead because of a few grandiose projects in Berlin. Hitler sought much counsel in Speer and gave him control over the armaments industry, where he was basically in charge of the German War Machine. The analogy as it relates to influence and policy progress are of course different in some ways as to projects being implemented, but influence is exact. Speer controlled Nazi Germany through influence of counsel, Goebbles was a propagandist. Concentration camps were set up near munitions factories that Speer controlled and owned economic stakes in and admitted personally touring this facilities and selected their sites.

This admission appears in the transcript of an interrogation of Speer under oath on 18 October 1945, in which Speer stated: "The fact that we were anxious to use workers from concentration camps in factories and to establish small concentration camps near the factories in order to use the manpower that was available there was a general fact. But it did not only come up in connection with this trip." [i.e. Speer's trip to Austria]. (3720-PS) Goering endorsed this use of concentration camp labor and asked for more. In a teletype which Goering sent to Himmler on 14 February 1944, he stated: "At the same time I ask you to put at my disposal as great a number of concentration camp (KZ) convicts as possible for air armament, as this kind of manpower proved to be very useful according to previous experience. The situation of the air war makes subterranean transfer of industry necessary. For work of this kind concentration camp (KZ) convicts can be especially well concentrated at work and in the camp." (1584-I-PS)

"Speer subsequently assumed responsibility for this program, and Hitler promised Speer that if the necessary labor for the program could not be obtained, a hundred thousand Hungarian Jews would be brought in by the SS. Speer's record of conferences with Hitler on 6 April 1944 and 7 April 1944, contain the following quotation: "*** Suggested to the Fuehrer that, due to lack of builders and equipment, the second big building project should not be set up in German territory, but in close vicinity to the border on suitable soil (preferable on gravel base and with transport facilities) on French, Belgian or Dutch territory. The Fuehrer agrees to this suggestion if the works could be set up behind a fortified zone. For the suggestion of setting this plant up in French territory speaks mainly the fact that it would be much easier to procure the necessary workers. Nevertheless, the Fuehrer asks an attempt be made to set up the second works in a safer area, namely in the Protectorate. If it should prove impossible there, too, to get hold of the necessary workers, the Fuehrer himself will contact the Reichsfuehrer SS and will give an order that the required 100,000 men are to be made available by bringing in Jews from Hungary. "

Speer needed cheap slave or slave like labor.
