For Trump or anyone else to assume to be bullet proof he needs a major landslide election, like 66% of the popular vote. Or we need all Senators ranning for reelection defeated with at least 218 of the House defeated so that the message cannot be argued. I do not see Americans delivering either of those needs.
I have to disagree. They say Congress needs to be the ones to fix the issue but in most issues Congress has the standing fixes already in the law and has for a decade or more. Add in the Presidents ability to control groups like the DOJ and tons of other government affairs groups I see it as a 1 man job. A single President could enact the laws in full and simply change what he see's fit as long as its within current established law or the Constitution. National Guard to the border, full immediate deportations, change federal form for voter registration to require proof of citizenship and force state compliance as after all the SCOTUS already ruled its the Feds who call the shots there. Nothing Congress could do but to try and Impeach and that surely won't happen as many of these things would be seen as big Rep agenda issues. The DOJ won't do a thing as controlled by the President. The only choice would be a very slow moving lawsuit which could be drawn down and even killed through going after political judges and as only the SCOTUS would have the real standing on the issues and a few in almost every issue forced to recuse themselves or forcibly remove them from the bench.
