Is it really about the land?
I have really been reeling over the OBRs lately. Especially the "indigious people's land" comments.
Is that what they need more land? I don't see illegals coming here and setting up camp on empty lots. They are more interested in our services such as jobs, welfare, schooling and health care. They had absolutely no part in creating the American goverment which allows for these services. So their entire argument stating that we have something that is theirs is beyond false. They want money and free services that's it. I'm sure by now Mexico has alot more room than the United States because we must have half their population by now. The bad half
And the romantic fantasy that they are some kind of noble indian makes me sick. I have never witnessed a group of people that are so wasteful and abusive to the environment and animals. I can say that with confidence because I lived next to them for two years.
My husband and I are fighting as much as we can. But, if they get amnesty, I am already looking into other countries to move to. I would give the US 10 years max before they completely destroy us. I think we have a good chance, and as soon as I work out some schedule issues over this next week I plan on hitting the focus campagins HARD and gearing up for the elections. The John McCain Call Center

I think you are right with the welfare schooling and health care anyway. Every time I am behind someone in line at the store that does not speak English they pay with an Oregon Trail card. (Welfare credit card) It never fails, I tell my wife "watch this" and sure enough whips out the card to pay and the kid has to talk to the teller because they don't speak English. I don't know if they are illegal but I bet they are. More and more I think they are here for the free ride.

Guys you're right.
For many years as a Democrat I was willing to support a safety net for my fellow citizens on hard times. I never imagined that I would lose my country over it. Now I know, and we'll never be able to "unknow" this again. The socialist system magnet that draws these aliens must be dismantled. It will be rough on some Americans, but the alternative is no America. Freedom isn't free. We'll turn back this invasion and then do what we have to do.Unemployment is not working. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH "indigenous people's "Mexico hates it's indigenous population...they want to dump them over here and at times kill them. Indigenous people do not want to leave there homeland ..ie. INDIANS..
...Look, I lived on Reservations..in the US
more than one..
These freakin people are playing Indian...but just a small group..
I used to go to Powwows till the Aztecan?or MECHA "spelling" showed up to dance but they wouldn't live on the reservation..no, these guys wanted to stir up crap and go to protest and get attention in big cities like Minneapolis...
I said what the heck is this...they are delusional..The Aztlan stuff "This is our land".. is complete crap....The Aztecan people where not here ..and that is the facts. .At least I have seen no Aztecan ruins around in the states ..have you!
Hope I made some senseNever look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

loservillelabor...right on!!
And believe me Americans are the most generous fair-minded folks on Earth. We will not let our people down...again. Instead of caging them on welfare, we'll have jobs, independence, savings, affordable health insurance, dental plans and great futures for everyone...the Regulated Free Market Way.
We'll even have public assistance for the truly needy..... but for American Citizens Only.
Okay, now... so when are we going to wage our Double Impeachment plan and get this New Show on the Road?

09-29-2006, 11:20 AM #7That gets me to thinking about another one of their points...... they claim their use of services is balanced out by the money they put back into purchasing US goods - I wonder how much of that money comes from Food Stamps, welfare cards, etc? Those billions they are "purchasing" are actually taxes paid by us!Unemployment is not working. Deport illegal alien workers now! I never beleived it was about the land. Otherwise what are they doing in mass all over the country? I belive like the rest have said.....it's for the freebies. When I lived in Florida it was what can I qualify for, what can I steal or what can I do legal or illegal to make the most money with minimul effort. It was nothing but distruction wherever they went. Some had grandparents that worked in the ferneries, but that was where the line changed from the good hardworking group of the past. The behavior was horrible. They acted like kids in a candy store gone wild. The world was their playground and they were entitled to it all. All you had to do was say free and they were there in mass. I'd see them buying hundreds of dollars of food with the food card. They'd hit the churches and have their trucks or vans just loaded with donations from church members. Their kids got the free breakfast and lunch at school and papa and mama had carefully rolled wads of hundred dollar bills and they were driving 45,000 trucks. Brand spanking new. They got rent assistance and they were constantly buying gold jewlery, real gold. Massive steroe set ups. Clothes and fancy undies and they also ate out alot. Not the life anyone else was living around there with the wages that were paid.

It is definitely NOT about "land." In the case of the MECHA and other reconquista types--they are backed by Socialist/Marxists. They USE this "indigenous peoples movement" to stir up resentment among the poor and disenfranchised. These people are largely uneducated and illiterate and easily manipulated. It isn't about land; it is about power. They hope to overturn the power structure of the country. They want the power, and they are trying to use these "indigenous people" to get it.
