I am confused. I thought that in-state tuition for illegals had been repealed in California by the states supreme court. I am obviously wrong. Was it repealed in another state?

    alamb, from the CAPS announcement,

"Reduced tuition was given to illegal aliens in 2002, when Governor Davis signed AB 540. The law was challenged in court, and in September 2008, the state appellate court ruled that AB 540 does conflict with federal law. However, it remains in effect while it is appealed to the California Supreme Court."

I've found CAPS's info to be reliable. The only problem is that their alerts are sometimes sent out too late for an effective response campaign to be mounted.

Hey won't that work with the other states?
