Here is some info on the pro-illegal rally held in Des Moines.

I will have pictures up tonight within a few hours. I am having some issues with my FTP program and I have to leave. Check back around 5:30 central time and they'll be up.

Good work.. nothing they said made any sense to me. "Im an American".. no your not. "Dont punish my parents for caring about me!".. Dont punish criminals for popping out a baby?? How is that my problem and why the hell should I take care of you through my taxes!!? So if I have a kid they have to be punished because your LEECHED money intended for our kids???

Pro-immigrant.. my ass. This is called a cop out attempt to try and legalize criminal activity BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO DAMNED LAZY TO GO THROUGH THE LEGAL PROCESS! If they have ALL THIS TIME AND RESOURCES TO PROMOTE ILLEGAL ACTIVITY then why dont they spend that time to BECOME LEGAL THROUGH THE CORRECT PROCESS!

Marches like this spit in the face of every LEGAL IMMIGRANT that became a part of our nation.

I guess tomorrow is another big day for the illegals. Are they ever going to go back and do those jobs they stole out from under us? Or might this be a good time to go job hunting?

I really hope their May 1st demonstration fails horribly.

You know, I forgot to mention something odd that I noticed as I was leaving. One of the policemen who had the street closed was giving all the protesters high-fives as they crossed.

I hope someone decides to put a counter-protest together. I really feel that Des Moines is getting fed too much pro-illegal immigrant rhetoric. I know that there is a sizable amount of the local population that is absolutely fed up with this, and I think we could have a great counter-protest as long as someone gets it put together.

From the above link: A bill in Congress that would make illegal immigration a felony is drawing a fierce backlash.

"It would make criminals of people like me who serve that kind of population as well," Sanchez said.

Sanchez helps immigrants through the naturalization process. She's also an advocate who's helping to organize a rally in Des Moines against the federal bill on April 10.

A FULL TIME (MOD EDIT) CON ARTIST. GEEZ, no suprise here. How would she be made out to be a criminal??? IS SHE AN ILLEGAL OR EMPLOYING THEM?? If she is there to REALLY HELP immigrants come to this country legaly then she should have NOTHING to bitch about regarding our country attempting to keep out those that are trying to get around the law by entering our country ILLEGALY!

Here's the handouts I recieved while at the rally. The newspaper I had to purchase for a dollar. I know I know, it was a waste of money. BUT...I wanted a chance to scour it for anything that might be useful. The socialist dude invited me to one of their events. I thanked him for the invitation, but I doubt my kind will be welcome

So what are they attempting to say exactly?? They want our government to just say.. ok businesses are employing you illegaly to work here in the USA (stealing legal citizen jobs in the process) so we will grant you legal status to work here and then make employers pay the same pay as American workers.

Easy way to solve problem.. force businesses to shut down that employ illegal workers.. then they cant bitch about not being paid enough, the illegals will have to go through the legal process like should already be doing, and then they can make the same pay as a legal citizen.

No instead they want to sneak over the border illegaly, take jobs at lower pay at no taxes (no one is forcing them to), take other various social services, and then demand we make them citizens so we cant throw them out for being criminals. In other words they want us to reward them for being criminals while true Americans go through the legal process the right way.
