Immigrants in the military

Talking to his parents in Spanish even though they have been here for decades: "they were working too much to learn English......."

PUKE! WHY IS THIS MAN ALLOWED ANY AIR TIME?

because CNN is trying to "balance" Lou Dobbs... but what is amazing is Sanchez's devious "spin" with sob stories... confusing the nobility of true immigration (his parents) with predatory immigration of convenience based on a crass conspiracy by the Unholy Alliance (Church, corporations and Latino politicians) to gain power for Latino politicians unfairly and illegally, and of course all members of the alliance making money along the way...

Sanchez likes to keep saying that the immigration system is broken (not true, the will to enforce the law is broken), yet blissfully ignores the fact that he is part of a new de facto immigration discrimination that favors Latinos..... why does he not see that? is it not obvious, since he only interviews Latinos?

The sudden interest in Ellis Island is interesting.... there would be interest on the part of Latinos if the current climate would not lend itself to using those images to portray presumed current unfairness in our system.... many quote the poem on the base of Lady Liberty, as if poetry were national policy.

He is again using immigrants in the military to imply that we are unfair to immigrants who wish to risk their lives in the noble defense of this country. First, legal immigrants have a right to join, but I think he should analyze a little better about illegals joining up... I bet many if not most of the illegals are doing the equivalent of buying a "lotto ticket". If they are lucky they survive the war and claim their prize of fast-track citizenship...

there was a time when immigrants, including LEGAL immigrants were NOT ALLOWED to join the Amry (pre-1965) ... legal and illegal immigrants are being taken into the military because they need bodies...

why would an immigrant be more prone to commit crimes than others who join the military? he asked...

the answer should have been... because they should be LESS PRONE nto crime since as Sanchez and Bush keep claiming, they are all good-hearted and hard-working... there should be much less crime among those folks...

and just because we have native hate-mongers like the KKK and white supremacists, does NOT mean that we need to tolerate imported hate-mongers... like those pontificating on some "hispanic" forums...

How about that fellow NOE who decided to no longer be afraid of being arrested and self-deported, leaving his wife and kids in the US. He prefers to be "free in Mexico, than in a US jail".... one would have to agree with his decision.... the the sob story of leaving his family is NOT the fault of American policy, but the KNOWN RISK he took when he came illegally to the US ...

I would even disagree with Cutler about PEDRO not taking his earnings with him on the way home.... if he earned that money honestly and paid taxes on it, he should keep his money and be banned forever from the US.

ALIPACer's, the only way to shut up that piece of garbage, Raza Rick Sanchez, is to NOT WATCH HIM. When he comes on, quickly change the channel otherwise you're giving his show ratings, which will keep him on the air.

CNN only knows the viewing count through their telephone surveys...

you need to understand the thought process of those anti-American hotheads...

this whole debate has NOTHING to do with the nobility of immigration, but everything to do with Latino political power and money grabbing...in collusion with exploitative corporations... hiding under the skirt of the Catholic priesthood...
