Thread: Romney's Speech to the CFR

This issue goes far beyond you or I.

Our nation has been in a steady decline because of compromise.

Republicans and Democrats have compromised so much that it is nearly impossible to tell the two apart.

Now is the time to stop the compromise and stand up and do the right thing. Having Mitt as President ie Bush Jr will only further destory our nation.

Anyone associated with the CFR who is bent on destroying this country does not deserve my vote and they should not be allowed to be leaders of this country.

You might have to settle for less and then work your way up, In the next election perhaps Ron Paul will gain traction if he jettisons some of his libertarian ideas and funky tax policies that do not provide sufficient revenue.

We were given the 2nd Ammendment, George Washington states, “A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government."

Jefferson warned us that if the government did NOT FEAR the people that there would be tyranny.....it is time for the government to FEAR US. PERIOD. (they sure as hell are afraid of RON PAUL because they know he is serious about shutting them down and ruining the "good thing" that these corrupt people have going (which includes the illegal situation).

Pull the plug and MAKE A STAND, "waiting" will only leave you further down in the mire and hole we are in (as Patrick Henry made so clear).


FINALLY: "sufficient revenue" are you kidding me??? Pull the plug. All levels of government used to only consume around 15% of gross domestic revenues TODAY it is 50% and GROWING. If you have a wife that overspends CUT HER OFF. cut the credit cards and empty the bank accounts don't let them MAINTAIN the irresponsible behavior.

yes. when you compromise it lasts for awhile and then they want you to compromise MORE (pretty soon there is NOTHING left).

think of it this way considering half of what is done is not Constitutional as an expressed power of Congress. They are "robbing your banK" and they think they have the RIGHT to because they have been doing it for so long!!! (it doesn't change the fact that they are none-the-less robbing the bank) When people are too bashful to stop the crooks because of the precident then they are only like the cowards in the classic western movie letting the bully run the tyranny over them waiting for the gunslinger to come "save the day". Time to do our own gunslinging.

Even the most passionate followers of Patrick Henry used deceptive tactics on the battlefield. One needs to balance courage with intellect, and that results in a force multiplier and leads to victory rather than the quick defeat that comes from impulsiveness.

As to Ron Paul's tax plan, it would only work after the Dems were defeated from Congress along with all their spending programs.

His plan would only immediately work via an actual violent revolution.

Well you underestimate the power of controlling the executive branch which spends the monies appropriated.

LOL I probably got that name wrong..but for the one who made rebuttals to Romney's pandering to the CFR...I applaud you. You are correct...absolutely. It is time to STAND FAST. Romney is just another CFR shill (is that bashing or is it the truth?) I submit Huckabee at this moment is attaching his letter of recommendation to Hunter's application
to the Council on Foreign Relations. Looks like Hunter made it into "the club".

William has told everyone to stop with these attacks on Ron Paul or Romney, numerous times. Those are the only 2 candidates left, that this site approves. That we should be battling the dems, Giuliani, McCain and Huckabee. Enough is enough.
