Pope Francis Declares Donald Trump ‘Not Christian’ VS Trump 'You Have No Right'
    NY Daily News

A pair of Catholic presidential hopefuls say Pope Francis should stick to saving souls and leave Donald Trump alone.

GOP candidates Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush sided with The Donald over the pontiff after the Pope said Trump was “not Christian” if he wants to build a wall along the Mexican-U.S. border.

“I support walls and fencing where it’s appropriate,” Bush said Thursday after the mini-holy war erupted.

POPE FRANCIS DECLARES DONALD TRUMP IS 'NOT CHRISTIAN'

GOP presidential hopefuls Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush say Pope Francis should keep his nose out of U.S. policy.

“I think it’s OK to get my guidance as a Catholic from the Pope,” Bush continued.

“But certainly not economic policy or environmental policy.”

Rubio, a fellow Republican and Catholic, said the United States only wants the same final say on people crossing its borders as Vatican City officials enjoy.

“Vatican City controls who comes in, when they come in, and how they come in as a city-state, and as a result the United States has a right to do that as well,” said Rubio.

Rubio leavened his remarks by expressing his “tremendous respect and admiration” for the Pope.

Mayor de Blasio quickly hailed Pope Francis’ comments, made as he flew back to the Vatican after a visit to Mexico.

Rubio and Jeb Bush (r.) actually defended rival Donald Trump, who Pope Francis said was 'not Christian" if he wants to build a wall between U.S. and Mexico.

Trump “is all about building walls between people while @Pontifex works to heal age-old divisions,” the mayor tweeted.

“@Pontifex calls for compassion for immigrants and respect for all humanity while (Trump) denigrates women, Mexicans, Muslims.”

Trump backer Jerry Falwell Jr., the president of Liberty University, suggested the Pope went too far by weighing in on Mexican immigration.

“Jesus never intended to give instructions to political leaders on how to run a country,” Mr. Falwell said on CNN.

The Vatican, for its part, welcomes millions of visitors a year — but allows only a very select few, who meet strict criteria, to be admitted as residents or citizens.

Only about 450 of its 800 or so residents actually hold citizenship, according to a 2012 study by the Library of Congress. That study said citizens are either church cardinals who reside in the Vatican, the Holy See's diplomats around the world, and those who have to reside in the city because of their jobs, such as the Swiss Guard.

Americans today feel like they’ve come home after vacation to an unrecognizable house in which a family of raccoon's has moved into the basement, wreaking complete and utter havoc in their lives.

Raccoon's can be nasty creatures that are capable of destroying a dwelling and carry rabies — making a mess, eating all of the food and refusing to leave — ultimately resulting in severe stress for their hosts. At wits end, the family calls the Exterminator — the only guy who can get the job done and done NOW. They don’t care if he’s had three wives, if he’s loud and obnoxious, has bad breath or if he has a plumber’s crack when he bends over. The family simply has faith that the Exterminator can get rid of the raccoon's — and THAT is all that matters. DONALD TRUMPS 2016
