Is Rubio a Muy Loco RINO?
Is Rubio a Muy Loco RINO?

The panic among the amnesty pimps has reached hysterical proportions.
As conservatives increasingly discover how the ‘Gang of Eight’ amnesty bill would be an abject disaster for America, and also realize how Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has lied to them about its provisions, Rubio and his team have reacted with La Raza talking points, and now disgraceful race-baiting.
Case in point, Rubio’s spokesperson Alex Conant – in a Twitter exchange with Washington Examinercolumnist Conn Carroll, R- said, “We haven’t had a cohort of people living permanently in US without full rights of citizenship since slavery.”
Of course, to follow Conant’s absurd and offensive comment, he doesn’t only refer to illegal aliens. He’s also talking about any non-citizen who lives in this country permanently, including millions of Green Card holders. And as Carroll noted, if illegals are modern slaves, then…
Exactly.
Moreover, to illustrate its absurdity, if Conant saying that illegal aliens who don’t become citizens are “slaves”, then how does he characterize the 64% of 3.5 million illegal aliens who received amnesty in 1986 who never bothered to apply for citizenship? Are they keeping themselves in slavery?
Of course there is no comparison between slaves, who were brought and kept here against their will, with foreign nations who came here and stay here by choice. It is disgraceful to attack (soon to be former) allies by suggesting their insistence on enforcing our laws makes them racists, and insulting to minimize the harsh experience of millions of Black Americans by comparing them to border crossers and tourist visa violators.

Like his mentor McCain, Senator Rubio has went over to the dark side in his desire to gain higher office he believed the press and members of congress who simply wish to use him. If we wish to carry the "slave issue" further then those who employ illegals when they are aware they are doing so at the expense of American citizens the employers are the slave holders simply on the basis of greed.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
