Rudy Giuliani's role in paving the NAFTA Superhighway
Posted November 29th, 2007 by Isaac Lopez
Of course, Ron Paul was the only candidate asked anything about the NAFTA Superhighway (AKA The Texas Trans-National Corridor). Sadly, the candidate on the stage who is profiting the most from this project wasn't asked a single question about it. That's probably because few people know that Rudy Giuliani is practically financing his campaign on it.
Any time you see a reporter erroneously taking Paul to task for his comments on the very real prospect of the NAFTA Superhighway, kindly point them to Manufacturing News & Technology and ask them if the $70 million dollars Giuliani received on the legal work preparing to sell public roads to foreign companies is imaginary.
Another thing you can do is send them to the website of the documentary Truth Be Tolled, to witness the passion of those fighting this thing on the front lines.
Write them and send them to these places when they attack. Ask them if they have done their homework. But why wait for them to attack? We should be peacefully preemptive. Write your local editors; Write your favorite Internet reporter; Ask them if they were aware of the referenced links. Ask them if now is not the time to have a debate about this, when will be the right time?
We need to be providing ground cover to Dr. Paul on this issue. It's the least that we can do for him as he stands up there heroically speaking truth to power.

The more I read about Giuliani from a variety of sources, the more I see that he would be disastrous for conservatives and for those who believe in the rule of law etc. and oppose illegal immigration.

The links are not working.
I already new this, his (Rudy's) law firm handles the work for Cintra, who got the contract for I-35 toll road, NAFTA super highway down in texas. Cintra is involved in several toll roads in the U.S.. They are a firm from Spain/Australia.
And that Rat just put his head down saying his prayers when Paul was asked the question.
What I don't get is why are these people not being asked these questions on the campagin trail, They need their feet held to the fire on this and immigration.

Thanks for posting Tobin's name. I emailed Anderson Cooper and told him Ron Paul was correct. He should set the record straight.

Info on Jeffhttp://www.cnn.com/CNN/anchors_repo ... ffrey.html Toobin:
my comments to CNN:
Ron Paul is NOT crazy as CNN reporter Jeff Toobin commented. The superhighway Ron Paul spoke of would connect Mexico, the United States, and Canada, cutting a wide swath through the middle of Texas and up through Kansas City. The toll road would be built and operated by a foreign company.
It's officially called the trans-Texas corridor and nick named the NAFTA Superhighway.
CNN has an oblication to set the record straight.

NASCO has altered the organization’s website homepage, apparently in direct response to the North American Union series we have published here, including discussion of NASCO and NAFTA Super-Highways.
NASCO appears to be reacting from recent publicity deriving from our argument that NASCO actively supports the goals of their members, including the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the Kansas City SmartPort. TxDOT plans to start the first segment of the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC) as early as next year and the Kansas City SmartPort plans to house a Mexican customs operation within their Inland Port design. These are new infrastructure developments along the North American NAFTA Super-Corridor that NASCO as a trade organization was created to support.
A box has been inserted to the left of the NASCO map on the homepage, emphasizing the following:
