A run down of amendments so far and what they mean.
From US Border Watch
A run down of amendments so far and what they mean. Now some I have
made calls on to senator's offices to get clarification. Anyone see
anything I've missed or misinterpreted let me know.
Isakson - would have forced the security of the border, before
amnesty. It was defeated and this may have been the most important of
all
Salazar - this gives the power to the president to implement amnesty
before security if the house changes the bill. This one took a lot of
phone calls to figure out but looked fishy from the beginning to me.
Bad thing because we already know the president's view
Dorgan - limits the number of guest workers. Good move and saves us
from 100k new ones.
Bingham- limits guest workers also
Kerry- adds 1000 new border agents, helicopters, and a bunch of speed
boats. Not near enough to do any good
Kyl - bars felons, and those with 3 misdemeanors from amnesty, also
those who have not left the country when ordered to. Allows exception
for those not given notice. Good amendment. Has not passed yet but
likely will
Inholfe - English as an official language, was put off but will likely
fail.
I think that is it so far. If I've missed naything one of you smart
folks let me knowWe the People. You the Invader

I agree that it was the most important. Amazingly, only half the senators from border states voted in favor of it, with both Texas senators supporting it and neither California senator supporting it. If your senators did not support it, they should be taken to task.

Three misdemeanors? Well that gets rid of all of them, here's 5:
1. Trespassing
2. Fraud (illegals use false SSN numbers)
3. Identity theft/forgery (illegals use other people's
information)
4. Tax evasion (illegals work for cash under the
table, no taxes are paid by them)
5. Accesory to a crime (by working for cash under the
table, they are also helping the employer to evade
paying taxes)

Probably most border states are being influenced by all of the illegals.

You can probably add welfare fraud. Unlawful posession of a fire arm. Drug posession and sales. Theft. etc......Driving without a license. Driving without insurance.......
That's what scares me coz I'm sure if they start freely handing out amnesty there's a chance they'll never get an accurate criminal background check if they ever got caught before. And ALOT never manage to get caught.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I don't know how they will prove they have any misdemeanors. I am told by local law enforcement that they don't even know who they are at the time of release. They ask what is your name and before the conversation is over they gave them 2-3 different names.

sawdust, how right you are. These illegals have false names, false ID, there is no way to track even the ones arrested. They can commit all the misdemeanors they want, there's no way of keeping track. Folks, this is just another smokescreen the Senate is trying to foist on us. DONT FALL FOR IT.
They will talk about the fence provision (and neglect to mention it's only 350 miles long)
They will mention 3 misdemeanors and they won't get amnesty (but neglect to mention that there is no adequate tracking system due to the false IDs and multiple names)
They will probably pass some other meaningless amendments to their bill. Don't expect anything to be ENFORCED even if they pass the bill.
It's all more BS. The only way to be sure we save our nation and our culture and our language is to STOP THEM IN THEIR TRACKS.<div>Want some ICE with that cervesa?</div>
