Thread: GA Peach kicking butt and taking no prisoners on Dreamies

The DREAM Act battle with the Dreamies is still ongoing, though they are severly cracking and getting more and more desparate. They even try to pass themselves off as rednecks with handles such as "billycracker" and post inane racist crap but they were outed. Now there's an invader who goes by the handle TrueBlue who claims he's a marine who just came back from Iraq and will be going back soon. Yeah, like a real soldier is gonna be wasting his time for several days stumping for the Dream Act during his leave. Talk about "phony soldiers"!. He's as much of an American soldier as I am Vicente Fox's daddy!

Been there, stated my position which had to do with the poor little thing making sure she took her iPod and cell phone with her, which most parents for one cannot afford to give their kids, but also would not out of wantign to make sure they realize the value of what their parents do for them already. Guess she felt they had not done enough by crossing into our country illegally, she then asked them for the iPod and cell phone too.

Well, at least she can keep in touch with her friends in the U.S.!!!!

Oh dear, I just saw this. zeezil, you and others have done a great job. I have never done this before, but the illegal aliens are relentless and we have to push back. We want our comments to be read by the American public. We want mothers and fathers, and veterans and yes, young people to understand what the Dream Act will do to America. The millions of illegal aliens that will receive amnesty.

zeezil, I would have never gone to this site and "jumped" into the fray and debate had it not been for your shout for "help." We all need to let our voices be heard and read and drown out the illegal aliens.

The illegal aliens and open borders crowd is still working everyday to push the Dream Act through. We must do the same.

OK, folks. This is the Dreamies fact list for the DREAM Act, as per Mrs. Mom, who has been diving in and out of the USA forum the last several days. Tha's about all they have. These certainly aren't very hard to rebut:

Facts About the DREAM Act:

1) It gives "special favors" to undocumented students: - this is not true , but is based on a "mistaken" idea about in-state tuition. In-state tuition is not even part of the current DREAM Act.

2) It will cost tax payers tons of money. - this is not true, it will actually mean that young people who are undocumented will end up paying more in taxes because they will have legitimate jobs with higher incomes due to legal status and education.

3) It will use up all the financial aid that should go to citizens - this is not true, there is no federal financial aid attached to this. The only "aid" are loans (paid back with interest) and work-study - which is work, not aid.

4) There are a thousand loopholes and no documentation requirements- this is not true. while with any sort of legislation you can not guarentee it will be 100% fraud proof - there are many ways to easily document the requirements in DREAM - i.e. school records, immunization cards, etc. . Most of the "examples" of loopholes are just out-right lies.

The noise you are hearing is my groan. Mrs Mom refuses to acknowledge any facts. We are just heartless child abusers. It does not matter what you say to her except........... If you want to drive this woman mad, ask her how they are going to get around article 1 section 9 of the constitution if they do not declare amnesty. Remind her that it will not apply to her little darlings that are already in the country. The woman goes nuts, it is really funny. When little guy gets up, I have to get off line, so it looks like I will be missing the fun.

oh, and then remind her that this is an Election year and NO POLITICIAN WILL PUT HIS NAME ON AN AMNESTY BILL THAT SPELLS OUT AMNESTY.
