Just heard Dirty Harry announce the SCHIP vote will take place this afternoon.........11/1/07

I am sick of this. What is with these idiots? They just don't care to listen.

They are already scheduling Nov 6th to start working on a veto override!!!!!!!!!! Apparently they think Bush will veto this bill also. LETS HOPE!!!!

A simple way to get this bill through is to lower the poverty rate to 200% and disallow ANY ILLEGALS FROM PARTICIPATING!

SEC. 101. EXTENSION OF CHIP.
Section 2104(a) (42 U.S.C. 1397dd(a)) is amended--

(3) by adding at the end the following new paragraphs:

`(11) for fiscal year 2008, $9,125,000,000;

`(12) for fiscal year 2009, $10,675,000,000;

`(13) for fiscal year 2010, $11,850,000,000;

`(14) for fiscal year 2011, $13,750,000,000; and

`(15) for fiscal year 2012, for purposes of making 2 semi-annual allotments--

`(A) $1,750,000,000 for the period beginning on October 1, 2011, and ending on March 31, 2012, and

`(B) $1,750,000,000 for the period beginning on April 1, 2012, and ending on September 30, 2012.'.

CitizenJustice, thank you for alerting everyone early to the vote taking place on SCHIP. I did not see this thread under current discussions when the vote came about.

I am particularly sad today about this vote and the fact that my Senator voted for the LOST treaty. (LAW OF THE SEA TREATY).
