Sen. Burr - NC will vote NO on cloture
I just spoke with staffer in his Washington office and she stated he will vote NO on cloture. So, if I wasn't misled, as most Senators are fond of, expect a NO vote from Burr.

I'm in the middle of sending the ALIPAC statement out to ALL 100 senators via e-mail. Just called Brownback's office and the staffer said she didn't know which way Brownback would vote on cloture. Natuarlly, I said, then tell hom to vote NO in a message from me.

Senator Dole
Senator Doles office said that she planned to vote no as well to the cloture vote....I concur with Senator Burr's office stating he would vote no as well...

Well this is good news and a first! Radio Show host Jeff Katz from Charlotte interviewed Burr yesterday and hit him with some hard questions.
It is good to see this change in his position.

Yes, this is VERY GOOD news. Only if we can convince both Senators from Georgia, I think we would see a snowball effect.

We need to get some thank you calls in the air to both Burr and Dole thanking them for taking a stand with America and her legal citizens.
Thank you messages can encourage them both to convince other Senators to do the same and join them in voting no on Cloture.
Perhaps that message I left yesterday that we would be protesting outside his Winston Salem offices if we had to in order to inform the state about what his YES vote on CLOTURE would mean helped.

With a message from he president of ALIPAC, he would have had no choice but to pay close attention. Furthermore, he was hiding out of the country during the Memorial Day recess and no where to be found. He's still hiding since I haven't seen him take the Senate floor once during this entire past 2 or so weeks. Anyway, I will send him a thank you message for voting NO on cloture and that I will expect a NO vote on the final bill as well.
