Drogan...speech over....last commented that he expects a cloture vote tonight...not that he wants it.

No word yet when cloture vote will be. Has not been officially pulled yet...so it still may occur.

Vote on immigration bill.....evidently taking place right now!

Silence on the floor. Seem to be getting ready for a vote. Staff getting in place. Likely Senate offices have been alarmed...so senators come to the chamber to vote. May be a delay until the actual vote...to give time to the Senators...

Sounds like they made a deal on his amendments...

WAIT.....!!!!!!!!! It sounds now that they may delay!!!!!!

Now it sounds like they are just rolling out amendments to get the votes to pass cloture. ;(

The key thing is if they have already done a head count, and know they have the votes.

My guess is that they have the votes via the amendments members demanded...or it will be a close vote.

Otherwise they would unlikely be going through the motions for no reason.
