Well, since this was what was required to get the job done, maybe this list right here is the most accurate way for us to truly know who is really with us. What do you think ?

All this time I've thought Byron Dorgan was with us. Would anyone say he is with us ?

    Only $1.8B?

How about we just call a truce in Iraq for two months. That would cover the 1.8B plus...

Our government does not want to build a fence or secure our borders. This is now obvious by their voting down bills to appropriate funds and by Bush not sending the national guard to our borders and what few are there just have BBQ's and eat watermelon. If we want our borders secured we may just have to do it ourselves. Maybe we could use our tax dollars instead of sending it to the government so they can give it away to Mexico.

I'm not surprised in the least.

I do take comfort in knowing that their permission isn't really needed and the fence is going up anyway.

Also, I'm pretty sure at least a few of these people will pay for it afterall by losing their jobs and ruining their careers because they will be voted out of office.

I'll be writing, emailing and faxing my disappointment to my former Senator Byron Dorgan, the same as I did when I thought he was on our side. Not many people in his state are aware of the huge problem of immigration-legal or illegal- no matter how much I try to tell them.
    Phooey!

Cantwell and Murray of WA are just plain not any good for this state or our country.

    Biden (D-DE), Nay
    Carper (D-DE), Yea

I suppose you can guess which on of these two traitors is up for re-election this November. It just so happens that his challenger, Jan Ting, is creating a lot of buzz and also happens to favor the immigration laws that are already on the books.

We really have to be aware of the immigration voting records of these incumbents people. Too many of these guys (and gals) are trying to hoodwink the voting public as the elections grow nearer.

Oh man! My Senator McConnell was so proud, boasting about his vote for the fence when he voted WRONG on S2611. Now he refused to fund it?

And Jim Bunning was right there doing what he's supposed to do supporting and protecting his citizens. Hope we can get a good person to put in the Senate with Jim.

It goes without saying the CA senators, Feinstein and Boxer, voted against it. I would love to see Feinstein voted out this Nov. She's been there too long. Don't think it will happen since this is a liberal state but one can always hope. The Republican running against her, Dick Mountjoy, should make a big deal about the illegal immigration situation here. Just might work and what would he have to loose?

Yep, emailed them a while back telling them they most certainly have not won any votes from me or my hubby due to their support of S2611.

Not that we'd have voted for them anyway, but I wanted to make sure they knew they have no chance of gaining our votes.
