    This is fabulous!!

He says President Bush and the Republican Party will pay a heavy price at the polls for this so-called comprehensive immigration reform.

Did you watch on CSPAN today the amendment to the Senate immigration Bill that allows the workers who come here under the proposed Guest worker program can self petition themselves for residency after their initial stay is over? So far there is no precedence for this kind of petition. The current temporary worker programs like H1 visa require the employer to petition for the employee. But according to this amendment ( proposed by who else - Kennedy/McCain) the workers can submit their own papers to prove that they are employed. They do not need to prove that they are needed tomorrow by any employer. Guess what - the amendment passed inspite of very articulate reasoning by Senator Cornyn and Kyle in opposition.

Two democrats, Senator Dorgan and Senator Byrd, spoke in opposition to the amendment. Senator Byrd gave an impassioned speech that amnesty was given in 1986 with the same promises of border control and employer sanctions. He also detailed his several attempts to allocate more money for border security, each time denied by President Bush.

Bottom line an amendment was passed yesterday that said illegals could not get amnesty if they had 1 felony or 3 misdemeanors. Identity theft is a felony, so they are "forgiving" it.
They may have finally gone too far with the Social Security payments. What about the people whose Social Security number and identity was stolen?
When I called Senator Salazar's office today I alluded to the fact that they should be sued for discrimination. Because, If a citizen used a fraudulent Social Security number it would be a felony and they would be prosecuted for it. By allowing part of the population to be excused from the felony based on nationality and then reward them by allowing them to claim illegally gotten gains is a real problem. I am thinking there is a lawyer out there somewhere that might be a little hungry. Perhaps the ACLU could be forced to take it on, they go after everything else. Most of our Senators are lawyers and to them "sue" is a verb.

I would agree. Any citizen thats sitting in jail for ID thief would have a strong case. It would be a violation of equal protect under the law. You know the same one the illegals use to get whatever they want. You can't punish one person and not punish the other.

Any politician who says we can't deport is a politician we can't allow to stay in office for much longer.

This guest worker bill will turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to us. We are going to get all these traitorous wart-hogs on the permanent record. And in November they are going, going, gone.
