Sorry, don't agree. They did the crime and now must do the time. I can understand your desire to save tax payer dollars, but releasing criminals from jail is not the answer - it would be to easy on the illegal. You might better understand where I'm coming from if it were your 12 year old daughter that was molested. What we need is a special prison in California designed especially for illegal immigrants. We could put them on an old fashion chain-gang picking produce, grapes, oranges, etc. Hard labor until they've paid there dues to society. Doing this could satisfy Calafornia's need for "guest workers." Once they've satisfied the criminal justice system, ICE could then escort them to the Southern Mexican border (as far away from our borders as possible).

Nittygritty - just thought I'd let you know that I'm still "in the loop" here on the board. Just been doing tons of research and study in what it might take to skip over local and state office and jump directly to Senate or Congress.

The problem with we "commoners" running for office is - special interests and lobbies provide money to our competition which is what gets them into office and leaves good folk hanging out to dry.

Imagine a common guy/gal who has to compete with a very well-known "goody two-shoes" with millions of dollars behind him/her. It means bigger and better television and radio time for starters. It means more fliers and more paid campaign people who can go door-to-door for you. etc.

So far, I'm not thoroughly convinced I'd even have a chance. Grassroots organizing does work, but big money can shoot down an awesome grassroots campaign mighty quickly.

Still looking more into things. If I knew enough people would rally behind me, I'd consider running. Of course, my being so "brutally honest" could spell my demise in one of the higher offices. Some have been found to have committed "suicide" on their toilet while holding a newspaper. Was Mr. Henry Foster trying to read his obituary before he "committed suicide"? Those who aren't friendly toward this globalist agenda come up missing, "commit suicide" or have their offices rummaged by FBI goons (recent events serve witness).

MW - Actually I do understand more than you know about child molesters. I have a 6 year old daughter who was the victim of a child molester in the city library while her father was 3 feet away on the other side of a book case. Luckily it did not go as far as he would have liked but I do understand. People who prey on children need special punishment. I think a deserted island where they are given basics to survive and left on their own would be appropriate and secure perimeter is all that would be required to make sure they did not get off said island. I just do not think it is appropriate for taxpayers to have to support this scum and then have to put up with them being released back into society to prey on more children, which is exactly what happens. They need to be removed from society permanently with minimal cost.

nitty - I think concernedveteran is correct, unfortunately. A common person would have a very hard time breaking in to the network. Not saying it can't be done because it has happened but it is very difficult. He is also correct about the danger involved. I hope Tancredo has eyes in the back of his head. With his comments yesterday calling on el presidente to come clean about the SPP he is taking on the "powers that be" and they will not like that.
