Yes, I also agree, Vitter might have some issues to address. However, all (or most) of these political vermin have tremendous skeletons in their closet. What we are seeing here is a very selective release of information, and is simply a crow bar to slap other senators that did not fall into the goose step of the shadow leaders.

It always comes down to by which standard in which we measure anyone or any act! We need even judgement based on that standard. I believe every-one's standard is different. There are some who have the Christian world view, and others who have a secular world view. The politicians and the partisans almost always use the secular world view to justify their acts.

Have you non-Angelinos ever heard the real story of his name? He was born Antonio Villar. After he married Carmen Raigosa he addeded her name to his: Villaraigosa.

After the recent divorce was announced talk show hosts out here in LA started calling him Mayor Villar. Then the big scandal with newswoman Merthala Salinas hit the news and it was Mayor Villasalinas.

The BEST was when the stories about his trips to her condo (holding wine and a rose on his way up the elevator according to neighbors) hit the web. Then it became .... "Mayor Antonio TakeOffYourBlousa."

They don't call my town La-La Land for nothing, folks.

LOL! Not to hijack this thread too much, but last night on Kevin James radio show, he led us to a Korean newsite which had an article about the gal at city hall who also has some kind of a fashion design business (she's rumored to also be another of his flings). It was all written in Korean and there at the bottom of the page was Mayor Runway Viagra modeling a fashionable outfit! What a hoot! He claimed at the time of his visit to Korea or China or wherever it was that it was for business. Now we know it was really monkey business!
