Serious here...How could that be considered a hate crime ?

I mean if u wore a patch in support of our border patrol. She/he didnt go in there and smack anyone around. Nor did she/he throw around insults, She/He walked in with it on anyone that was offended by such patch, left.

Im seriously thinking about getting one of those patches I wish to support our board patrol. I wear a jersey on occasion with my favorite players number. Whats the difference
First of all, this is an old joke.

Second of all, if you were to do this, you'd be impersonating a law officer. That's the difference between wearing a sports jersey and an ATF, FBI, or Border Patrol emblem or jacket. If you want to try it, be my guest, but make sure you're lawyered up first.

Third, I'm sorry I got involved in this thread at all, so I'm done.
    CountFloyd,

Come back to this thread. Don't quit on us.

Did I miss something, I mght be clueless here, but we are mostly all on the same team and I think the illegals flooding ERs is a disgusting shame. Shame! Shame! Shame! I'm so angry right now I would consider standing outside the ER section all by myself with anti-ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION sign. I mean, they are and have been for some time taking advantage of USA citizens who are not members of the wealthy elite or upper middle class American families.

I guess I don't understand - why the problem with a stupid joke?

You're right noillegalimmigrationannie, flooding the ERs is a shame. I've even heard that many ER clinics in California had to shut down because of illegals coming in and not paying their bills. I don't know if they true or not, but if it is, that's scary.

OK, I'll step in it again.

Yes, here in CA as well as other border states, not just ERs but entire hospitals have shut down because of the financial burden placed on them by illegals. For those of us stupid enough to actually pay for health insurance, the rates are through the roof.

Because of the political climate in CA, you would indeed risk prosecution if you in any way intimidated the sacred illegal. Hell, most of the major cities in this state have declared themselves to be sanctuaries for illegals.

Allow me to post an old picture of the mayor of LA.

Antonio Villaraigosa, a one-time juvenile delinquent still tattooed with the slogan “Born to Raise Hell,” entered the UCLA campus as a transfer student from East Los Angeles Community College in 1972. Known then simply as Tony Villar, he would not successfully graduate by the time he left in 1975.(1) But Villar did leave a wide swath of influence in other, more radical ways.

So for a Californian, this stuff is no longer very funny. If you think it's bad now where you live, I'm telling you that you've seen nothing yet.

The backlash has begun and it's about time. They pushed it too far on May 1st!

You can't expect the masses to put up with this and continue to pay the tab and cater to one GROUP and expect not to experience alot of anger because of it!

Time to close out the tab and go home!

Not sure about this but in order to impersonate an officer of any kind, don't you have to flash a badge and/or make the claim that you are an officer? I may be wrong, but that is the impression I've been under.

Otherwise, you may as well arrest everyone who wears a costume on Halloween who dresses up as an officer or military or whatever.
I don't care what you call me, so long as you call me AMERICAN.

    CountFloyd,

I haven't lived in California since I was a child a very long time ago. Still, I hear the State has been more or less destroyed by the illegal invasion. It was, I believe the first state to suffer so. Other States will follow and the State I live in, North Carolina, has one of the fastest growing illegal alien populations.

I hear the other border states after California are in bad shape too, such as Texas, Arizona and New Mexico. All States are now being affected by the invasion, some more than others still all are suffering along with our legal citizens and legal immigrants.

The other day, I had need to go to the emergency room.

Not wanting to sit and wait over five hours in the normally overly-filled waiting area, I went to the Army surplus store, and bought a pair of khaki pants and a matching short-sleeved shirt.

Then, I sewed on a couple of shoulder patches which I purchased via the internet.

After a close shave, and crisply laundered and perfectly creased clothing, my appearance was immaculately clean.

It was amazing how many people left as I walked in! I suppose they suddenly decided they weren't so sick, after all.

Below is a representation of the patch you can attach to your clothing if you are in need of expedited emergency medical service.

    I love it!
