Six Degrees of Schumer: -Connecting the Dots Between Amnesty and 1993's Motor Voter Law

If there’s one thing we know about the Left, it is that they are relentlessly patient. They understand the value of incrementally infecting our political system with their toxic policies so that they can gradually achieve their goal of “remaking” (read “destroying”) the country we grew up in. Like our country’s other primary enemy, the Islamist radicals who have vowed to destroy us, they think in terms of decades or even centuries. Appreciating that fact is critical to understanding and defeating them.

Nearly fifty years ago, on May 2, 1966, two radical Columbia University professors Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven published an article entitled "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty" in the commie journal The Nation. The strategy is explained by Discover the Networks:

“Poor people can advance only when "the rest of society is afraid of them," Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would "the rest of society" accept their demands.”

David Horowitz has summarized the “Cloward-Piven Strategy" succinctly.

“The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.”

Many of you probably know that, like Cloward and Piven, Barack Obama is an acolyte of Saul Alinsky, and believe that he has been actively trying to implement their crisis strategy ever since he took office. The incessant effort to increase the food stamp rolls, including the outrageous and ridiculous recruiting of new recipients in Mexico, is no accident. Obamacare is the crown jewel of socialism and this crisis strategy, a program deliberately designed to destroy the private insurance system, and force everyone onto an expanded version of Medicaid.

What many have probably forgotten, even those who are very familiar with the Cloward-Piven Strategy, is that this dynamic duo was instrumental in the enactment of one of the greatest vote fraud facilitation systems that this country has ever seen, the 1993 National Voter Registration Act aka “the Motor Voter Law.” Here’s a photo of them standing right behind Bill Clinton at the 1993 signing ceremony, Piven is in the green coat, and Cloward is in the light grey suit.)

Motor Voter was designed to add millions of new voters to the roles, most of whom would never vote. The proponents of this new law, including then Representative, now Senator Chuck Schumer, who was a co-sponsor of the bill, knew that its enactment wouldn’t result in millions of new informed, civic-minded voters. They also knew that the demagoguery about “voter suppression” that they liked to use as a cudgel against opponents of this scheme was malarkey. Increasing legitimate voting was never the objective of this law. It was designed to overwhelm the ability to ensure the integrity of the system by enabling fraudulent registration, and voting. It’s clear that when coupled with laws prohibiting photo I.D. as a pre-requisite for voting, this racket can, and has, succeeded beautifully.

Now, Sen. Schumer is the point man in enacting more legislation designed to use the Cloward-Piven Strategy to enable the looting of the Makers by the Takers, euphemistically called “Comprehensive Immigration Reform.” The so-called “Gang of 8” proposal that he is actively promoting, with its ‘legalization first, border security whenever’ (read ‘never’), is actually a way to invite anyone and everyone to illegally enter the country, and enroll in our generous entitlement programs. What, you say, you’ve heard those ads run by the phony, Mark Zuckerberg-funded front group, Americans for a Conservat..., saying that these newly-legalized “undocumented” people won’t be eligible for benefits? I hope that you’re sitting down when I tell you that that’s a lie.

So, let’s sum up. Cloward and Piven devised a brilliant scheme nearly 50 years ago to destroy capitalism, and over the decades, implementing it has become the dream of millions of leftists, including Barack Obama, who not coincidentally attended Columbia, and who also as an attorney successfully sued the State of Illinois back in 1995 over that state’s failure to implement the Motor Voter law. Now we have the next phase, amnesty and the opening of the U.S. Treasury to the entire planet, designed to deliver the coup de grace to racist, unfair Amerika.
