We do not have the ability to deal with those people as workers. We can though... we CAN deal with them as illegal aliens! Long live the Real I>D> Act. And if they do not have proper identification on them, they won't be able to get jobs. They can damned well walk out in the snow and turn off their lights... or go home. If an employer hires them, and is caught, he is looking at working for Uncle Sam for a few years while he pays off the fine.

I feel this point is also critical. Mexico had plenty of opportunities to do those things which would have made their economy strong, and feed their people. They have, in fact, the potential to have at least as good a living as the United States. They don't because they told Sam they wanted to do it there way. So if the Mexicans are harmed by our not allowing them to work in this country... sorry. You had your chance.. shuck the corruption, and we will see what is next!!

I support this point too. I don't want Mexico to have the ability to send a few workers up here to do jobs that should go to Americans. Ahh.. but that is ALL the jobs in the United States. If they want to come up and help.. and we need them.. fine. But if an employer is crying and telling us he can't make it with out illegal aliens,... to bad.. and bite the dust pal. Because almost everyone CAN make it in this society with legal help, and paying living wages.

I will accept green card workers for a while. FOR A WHILE... but I know for a fact that Americans all over this country not only do those jobs, but LIKED doing those jobs. Fine with me... and if you cannot get workers to do the job, we need to export that job to Mexico... not import highly expensive workers from Mexico!!

I chose "Horrible idea". I did not chose the "and go away" part however.

If it were any more relaxed it wouldn't exist.

This is how I feel about government...

    THE GOLDWATER DOCTRINE

“I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them. It is not to inaugurate new programs, but to cancel old ones that do violence to the Constitution, or that have failed in their purpose, or that impose on the people an unwarranted financial burden. I will not attempt to discover whether legislation is 'needed' before I have first determined whether it is constitutionally permissible. And if I should later be attacked for neglecting my constituents' interests, I shall reply that I was informed their main interest is liberty and that in that cause I am doing the very best I can.

    - Barry Goldwater, “The Conscience of a Conservative
"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Pat your enemies on the back until the right time comes, then take your revenge like a tiger. Never forget who conned you, hurt you or cheated you, regardless of who they are."
