Something else they're trying to sneek in
The DREAM Act. The DREAM Act has been inserted into the Senate's immigration reform bill. This bill would reward illegal aliens with in-state college tuition rates. In other words, state's could give illegal aliens in-state tuition rates, but deny an American citizen the same rate, if he lives in another state. The current law states that if a state gives in-state tuition rates to illegals, it must offer the same rate to everyone, regardless of which state they live in.
Once again, the Senate wants to reward illegal activity, but deny American citizens the same benefits. This is outrageous! When you are writing/calling your Senators and Representatives, be sure to tell them not to vote for DREAM. If they try to tell you DREAM is not in the bill, they are lieing. DREAM was a stand-alone bill that was defeated, so they just repackaged it and hid it in the immigration reform bill. Don't let them get away with it.REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!

If the dream act is passed I would think it would lead the way for a slew of lawsuits. How in the world could you justify giving in state tuition to people here illegaly from another country while denying it to American kids living in other states?

Since when is it the job of American senators to fight for illegal aliens? The only excuse they would have for even discussing the illegals would be to protect Americans from the invasion! They waste time pleading their case for a DREAM act for foreigners. This is the job they were hired to do? Just because they want to make illegals into citizens does not mean illegals want to be americans. They HATE Americans, they are lovers of themselves.
We are NOT a nation of immigrants!

The biggie with the DREAM Act is that it is an amnesty. Those eligible for the program would be on a fast path to citizenship. No fines, no taxes! Just jump the line in front of everyone else who is trying to be a legal citizen.

This is senator Lugar from Indiana's brainstorm. Of course, he isn't interested in the people of Indiana, he hasn't lived here for the 30 years that he has lived in the Washington, D.C. area.
