Songs for My Radio Show? Your favorites of all time?

    Friends,

I am looking for music to play on my radio show. I'm brainstorming.

Please tell me some of your favorite songs of all time that are politically oriented a bit.

Im looking for a good mix of songs that people from many generations will remember, like, and appreciate.

"Revolution" by The Beatles (guitar intro) would make good bumper music if nothing else.

    "Sweet Home Alabama"

"Fire and Rain" (James Taylor) more mellow.

"I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers would fit the theme. So would "My Town" by the Michael Stanley Band.

A few songs that may be appropriate:

    -Ramones: We Want the Airwaves

    -Genesis: Alien song (satirical)

    -Big Country: Fields of Fire

I'm partial to the Kinks, Who & the Clash: I'll try to think of some specific songs.
