Special elections could add GOP votes to block amnesty
According to the above article, victors of the mid-term special elections will be sworn in immediately to become senatora. That means that if the GOP wins seats in Colorado, Illinois, and West Virginia those candidates will automatically become the states' senators.Code:http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-weigant/lame-duck-senate-worries_b_735834.html
I'm sure Buck & Raese are anti-amnesty although I'm not certain about Kirk.
I think that Buck will win but I think it'll be a tossup in IL and it'll be a tough one in WV.
They could certainly be small boosts to stop amnesty.
Let's hope for the best for the above candidates.
