Stimulas Plan - More Crappy Jobs - No Help!

    Economic stimulas plan
By the way, a new stimulas package that all these politicians want doesn't help workers, it just makes the big businesses more money.
Businesses don't pay house payments, groceries, or gas for my car.
This is the same old lame trickle down crap that doesn't work.
As one congressman stated to Bernanke, "if the rough times are coming then that means the good times are gone. And in the period of good times there were more people with reduced saleries, reduced healthcare and more poverty" while a few people at the top made more wealth than ever. This is trickle down economics? AAARGGGGGGGG!
As long as the rich business owners want to pay a slave wage you'll always have slaves and slaves don't own houses buy new cars or buy anything of substance and value. They rent low income housing, buy clothes at goodwill and beer so they don't have to face the fact that they are slaves. They discuss wanting to give businesses tax breaks. Look at the data, BUSINESSES are making more money than ever! How about saying: We're going to give business a tax break of $100 per employee per week and they pass that down to the employee in the form of $2.50 per hour raise! Thats how you right the economy! The EMPLOYEES are the ones that can't pay their house payments, car payments and healthcare, not the businesses or their owners! But NOOOOO, As you see everytime the bad economy is discussed, they go way around their asses to keep from saying the main source of the problem which is:
What America needs is GOOD PAYING JOBS! oh and by the way a good paying job ain't $15 an hour. Well, it could be if the government didn't take half of it!

As I heard last night on TV a stimulas package of say 100 billion would be divided to the states, the states then use the money to build more state projects such as hiways, schools libraries and ect ( bigger government). So what happens is the businesses providing the materials, labor and supplies get the contracts. They keep paying the crappy wages and they get richer and richer. So, how is this going to help the economy? By giving a thousands of $10 an hour jobs out, and who's going to get those crappy $10 an hour jobs? The illegals and the American people are. Yeah, you might hire a few project managers (which will probably come from the family business) or maybe a few more architechs but the crappy jobs far outweigh the good jobs. And the newly created manager jobs are expected to keep their mouth shut when it comes to the illegal hires, or else bon voyage'. How about we give those new projects to companies hiring Americans or paying a better than average salery? Then it might be a good stimulas package.
Unless we get those criminals & make them pay for what they have done to our country and the lawlessness they have sponsored, we are just another Mexico ourselves!

When you think about it the illegal worker is being exploited along with the middle class. The middle class being hit the hardest. We pay for their insurance and food through welfare. We pay for a poorer education system due to over crowed schools with children that don't speak english.
We pay in being able to obtain higher paid jobs and jobs being taken away from us and also the highschooler who used to work in that burger joint for extra money with still in school.
Who is going to pay for big corporations that employee these people when the middle class has vanished?
Will we then have Universal Health care that billary wants and the dems want? Will we then have to go and pick up our food or will we have a welfare card to get our food? Will dental be covered or will our neighbor the bravest one of all be pulling our teeth?

When Ronald Reagan introduced TRCKLE DOWN ECONOMICS, he took for granted that the businesses that trickled the wealth down had a conscious and actually rewarded the people helping make the companies millions, not just a few heads at the top of the company.

The reason why it doesn't work today is because you have pure greed of the business owners and the corporate heads, they don't want to share anything.

Why doesn't the business owners want to share anything? Well, because they calim the uncertianty of the global economy, the instability that comes with the global agenda. So, in their eyes they have to be prepared for anything on the horizon, which could be anything. This gives them the excuse to treat people like slaves and pay them like it.

This proves that global economics is a bad idea. It simply breeds the number one reason businesses don't expand or start up. Financial Instability in the market place. Oh, unless your a monopoly, then you can do anything and even spread your empire across the globe.

well first there is no such theory of trickle down economics.

And businessmen have always been as greedy as workers who want to make more money. Most people want to make more money because of the lifestyle it brings.

Reagen failed to control spending in his administration. Military spending increased alot during his tenure and he failed to cut spending in any meaningful way.

The bush stimulus plan will fail because it includes devaluing the dollar evne more by the fed cutting rates and government spending will continue to increase, getting us more into debt.

Money will always be better of in the hands of individuals than the government but tax reductions will not work if you have out of control spending...

I agree with you, Chexfive and Paige. The American middle and lower middle class has been dragged over the coals and I don't think the American people have had any way to stop it.

The situation is horrible for millions and millions of Americans. Yet American companies keep pulling in the H1B visa people who are taking away the only decent jobs which belong to the American people, not to the people of India or anywhere else.

There are all of the companies constantly pulling in the H1B visas and then there are the other companies who flat out employ illegals while the government does nothing about it.

The whole situation is a mess. Americans are even being discriminated against in the workplace by these H1B visa people who are purposely avoiding hiring U.S. citizens, and who are being given supervisory and management positions and often times unfairly when a U.S. citizen should be in line for the position.

Things are definitely a mess. Americans are struggling in a very serious way and yet they still keep the flood gates open for people to come into the United States and displace the American worker even more.
