I really like Sue Myrick and her position on the illegal immigration issue. I heard her speak at the Civitas Conservative Leadership conference in Durham. She talked about a bill to increase the fine for employers that knowingly hire illegals, from $2000 to $10,000 a head for each illegal knowingly hired. She's one of those Republicans elected to office that is holding the line on the illegal issue, "so far".

The only thing that bothers me is her vote on CAFTA, but I've heard that many of her constituants have "helped" her change her mind on the trade issues.

We'll see if she holds out, and stands firm on the illegal issue.

She'll be committing political suicide if she folds. Along with all the other Congressional jellyfish.
