I bet they changed the color of the red in supermans cape and costume because the Red was American flag red. That red with blue is almost the flag if the yellow was white.

I think we should all get together and make our own darn movie!
I still like the old TV Superman with George Reeves! It started off with Superman standing in front of the American flag with the anouncer saying. Superman a strange visitor from a distant planet, so he was a alien but he went on to say he stands for truth, justice and the American way, so he did become a American!

Last night, while packing, turned on the idiot box, just to have a muffling white noise, so I wouldn't wake Mom.

Didn't really pay attention to what was on...it was CBS, Criminal Minds. It only caught my attention, cause they said (paraphrased) 'they're like the Minutemen, those guys on the border'. Then the story proceeded to equate the Minutemen with racists.

    Boy was I livid.

I guess Hollywood is finally making up it's collective and liberal mind.

    I will not see it.

I didn't like the look of the new guy playing Superman anyway. For some reason to me he doesn't look like a, "good guy." I can't put my finger on it, but he just doesn't look the part to me. I think casting that guy was a mistake. Those filmmakers are idiots. Superman is an American icon! He stands for America, for God's sake! IMHO, in the Movie with Christopher Reeve, one of the best parts is where he tells Lois he stands for Truth Justice and the American Way and when he tells her he never lies. An American hero that doesn't stand for the American Way!?! What the hell are they thinking!?!

We can hurt them at the box office and in dvd sales. I've already informed my family, friends and most constituents to stand up for America. Some of them said 'it's just a movie' at first. Then on second thought they all agreed that the movie must be boycotted to make our statement. I just purchased the Christopher Reeve original GREAT Superman dvd to share with my family this weekend. The old Superman series are really great as well so who needs metrofreak superman? Crash and Burn!!!!

I am definitely boycotting this movie. Truth, Justice and the American Way is superman. There is no other.

I think he was granted citizenship by a grateful government back in 1945 after helping the USA defeat the Nazis.
