Support law-abiding employers


An OFIR member recently received an alert from the Teamsters Union calling on its members to take action to stop Cintas Corporation from firing illegal immigrant workers. You can see this alert posted on the Teamsters Union website at:

A fair reading of the situation is that Cintas Corporation is using the federal Basic Pilot Program to check Social Security numbers of its employees and find those with mis-matching numbers indicating possible illegal status. We need to encourage employers to do this, not harass them for trying to follow the law by employing only persons legally entitled to work in this country.



Let’s send emails to the Cintas Corporation or call them and thank them for upholding the law regarding employment of legal workers only. Their website at

This article said: “Worker justice activists plan to visit local companies that use Cintas services next week and picket, and hand out leaflets over the Thanksgiving holiday to inform the public of the issue.”

Unbelievable, the union calling illegal aliens immigrants and supporting felony identity theft.

Just sent an email of support. It really angered me when I heard about this on Lou Dobbs this week. So some legislator, who is/may be in charge of the Homeland Security Committee sent a letter of warning to this company as well?! Anybody know his name so we can bombard him too?

To the labor unions this is a way to boost the dues paying membership ranks that have been lagging for years. It's sort of ironic, isn't it (rhetorical question)? The labor union was responsible in great part for making the American middle class what it is today(was), but now they want to be part of tearing down what they orginally built by supporting and enhancing the earning power of illegal immigrant and 1st generation immigrants. It's all a business with them, they have no interest in America or its citizens, they just want to make the green! The excessive number of traitors in this country is totally astounding!

Bottom line, low to middle income earning American citizens are being replaced by a new class of worker for the sake of money. Plants like the one in Smithfield used to pay a living a wage and benefits, but not anymore (that all changed with the crazy influx of illegals)! That is all it took to get the labor unions rolling again.

It's totally beyond my comprehension how tens of millions of American citizens can stand by and watch this nightmare unfold without lifting one finger to stop it!

We have to do a better job at getting our message out.

gonna have union people animated by a spirit of even misguided
patriotism, let alone a legitimate protest over protecting American
workers.

I think that union memebership has fallen off for years. Tthe illegals are just a new source of income for the unions and they are all about money. Got to keep those union bosses in the dough.

Go the Teamsters one better and go to THEIR website form to be sent to Cintas. Erase it all and put in your OWN message congratulating Cintas I did. Makes me ashamed to be a dues-paying member of CWA...not that they weren't already just taking our money for nothing....now to take it to support illegals' so-called "rights" to take our jobs. Unbelieveable.
