Thread: Illegal Mexicans?

When certain people find out my identity, I will be outcast instead of outspoken, but this is my opinion anyway!

Everyone is saying that no one should hire, or rent to illegal Mexicans. What about illegal Indians? Mexicans didn't cause 911! They are not taking jobs from us, or causing lower wages. We don't even want to do the jobs that the Mexicans are doing. What about going into a convenient store...pick one. Chances are it's owned by an Indian that is getting tax breaks, and then afer their time is up, they pass it on to a family member so they can continue to get the tax break. I owned a convenient store. I didn't get a tax break!!! If you were one day behind on the taxes, they were ready to charge you an ungodly amount of interest.

Don't get me wrong, I love my country, and am proud to be an American, but fair is fair! If we, who have been born in this country, and worked hard to get what we have don't get any help or tax breaks, why give it to the foreigners that hate us? At least the Mexicans don't hate us. They are coming here to try to do the same thing we are doing...trying to have a decent life! They don't ask for tax breaks, or anything any more than we ourselves are asking for.

It really makes me furious to go into a convenient store, or motel, and see a foreigner making it on our money! We are working, and paying our taxes so that they can get the breaks! What's wrong with this picture?!

I don't know where you are getting your information, but the illegals DO take jobs away from the Americans, thus lowering the wages. Americans are still doing those jobs you say they won't do, at at higher percentage than the illegals, even though the wages have declined. The problem is that the percentage of illegals in our workforce is steadiliy growing and graduall forcing the Americans out.

Actually outspoken, no one on this forum is saying such things aside from you.

No one should hire or rent to any illegal alien, regardless of race or country of origin. Hiring an illegal alien is a crime!

Ummmmmm Indians hate us? That's news to me. And yes, illegal Mexican take American jobs. Like was mentioned Americans represent the majority of every single field of employment, and illegals are dragging down wages -- $1,700 annually for the average American-born male.

Also, if you think Mexican illegals have no problem with Americans you must have missed every single one of their protests, and be completely ignorant of the views of ethnocentric organizations like Mecha......and you might look at some Zogby #s on the issue while you are at it.

After I wrote what I did I started thinking, and reading a lot of other entries. Where are your ancestors from? Mine are England, German, Canada, and Irish. My ancestors were illegal, I'm sure. They weren't militia, just common people coming here for a better life. Worked hard, went about their business on a daily basis. Many worked in the coal mines...HARD WORK!!! Do you know anyone personally that would be willing to go underground and dig for coal, risking their life to support their family? Not many...Mexicans will. Americans have become lazy. We have all of the amenities that make it easy on us. Dishwashers, T.V.'s, riding mowers, you name it...it's available to us. We don't have to work hard. Our kids don't even know how to work hard!

Unless you are an American Indian, your ancestors were illegal. All I'm trying to say is...if you want to put the military on the border, O.K. if you think the Mexicans are that much of a threat to us. We need to be more concerned about the incoming airlines from other countries. Sure they've got all of the precautions, or do they? We have lost our rights as Americans. We have no say so in how this country is ran. No matter how you vote, the popularity vote doesn't amount to a crock of beans. The electoral vote is what counts. Which is not the way that the majority of the U.S. has voted in the past. And as far as our most wonderful President Bush, how can you run a country, if you can't speak, and spell your own language?

they protested because we were throwing them out of the country! If the American Indians were throwing your ancestors out of the country, where would you be now? I'm saying fair is fair. You don't see them throwing out, or even talking about any other foreigner, legal or not!

Apparently you've not traveled the U.S. I've seen with my own eyes how people perfectly capable of working, be it at McDonald's or wherever, refuse to do that job and had rather live off of welfare because they are too lazy to do that job. I have seen Americans perfectly able to work, and don't because they can get medicaid, and get free prescription drugs, just to turn around and sell them. Believe me, anytime I have ever needed a job, I could go get one in a week. If you want to work, you can work. It may not be the ideal job, but it will support you! I live in an area where the factories have shut down and people have lost their jobs. That doesn't mean you can't find another one!
